A young man wakes up on a cliff top, unsure of where or who he is. All he knows is that he wants to get home, and he wants to get home fast. There is a strange mansion that he finds on this cliff with him, and through exploring he discovers more information about how to escape.

This game has a lot of simple puzzles, and a few sudden deaths. It is recommended to save often. It is still in progress, under a lot of work, but I hope to get it done soon! Inspired by games like The Witches House and Castle Red.

I'm hoping this game will have multiple endings and different routes to go, but it depends on if I can figure out the software. This is my first game so it will be a bit rough but I would love it if people were interested!

Includes
original characters
Original soundtrack
original artwork
not original tilesets though.

The demo is now available, please let me know if something doesn't work right, I will answer any and all questions!

Some thoughts

I already talked about this on my tumblr page but I want to bring it up here too. I am considering cancelling this project. After losing all of my work I don't really have the will to do it all over again for a game that I ultimately care for so little. Honestly this game was just a test so I could get to know the rpg maker system better, and was never really meant to be a full game. It is just too much for me to do at this point. I haven't made a concrete decision yet, but I figure I'd let anyone who was even remotely interested in this know.

Instead of this project, I have been dedicating my time to my more serious project, Happy Birthday Sandra. It will be much better and more thought out, and will have hopefully none of the problems that the demo for this game had. Thank you to everyone for your support, it's been fun.

how do I submit the game? When I try to upload it, it doesn't work like the other games do on this site. Am I just technologically inept, am I doing something wrong?
Easy steps:
- Make sure the folder is either zipped up or you've used the compression choice in the engine. This will create a file that can be uploaded.
- Go to Manage Games, pick this game and then go to the Downloads page.
- Make sure the game file is less than 400MB (the on-site hosting is limited to that much). If it's over you should remove any unused resources in the folders and rezip/compress.
- If it's still too big, you can get a free account with Dropbox and link it to your account here (under settings). Then you can use that on the download page. Or upload to another hosting site and paste the link in the box provided for links on the download page.
- Wait. The page will redirect when it's done. Depending on your internet, the file size and the current site speed it can take a while to upload.
- Once it redirects it should be good to go. If you need to update the file for whatever reason, just go to Manage Games > Downloads page and edit your current download, replacing the previous one. You may also upload a different version if you wish (so if you want to keep a demo version and a full version, you'd make a different download for the full version).

Hope that helps!

thank you, this should help! Thank you very much
Ah, there is an issue. You didn't zip/compress the game. You just uploaded the Game.exe file which does nothing without the rest of the stuff in it. To compress your game is easy - open the engine and go to File>Deployment. Then pick Windows and the folder you want it deployed to. Upload THAT file to RMN. >.<)b

Oh it's finally working!

Definetly gonna give it a try, also I hope there's no jumpscare here? > >;;
(I know it's tagged as horror but at least let me brace myself for incoming ghost popping out on front of my laptop's screen)

Thank you for downloading! Oh, and there's no need to worry about jumpscares, there's no screamers or anything like that, though there are some sudden noises. thank you so much for commenting!
Haha this game is so humorous, I love how the doll is so sarcastic and rude; the game in general holds ridiculously funny events ^_^

Keep up the good work!
