I have bad news

So, game files can get corrupted in rpg maker. I know, right? Who knew. But this has brought some really bad news for Black Sugar. Months work of work on getting the game finished is completely gone. Poof. I took a shower and in those 30 minutes my hard work was completely destroyed. Because of this, Black Sugar's tentative release date of sometime this year is no more. Worry not, I am not giving up. I will not cancel this project. This just means I need to start completely over for the third time since I started work on this in rpg maker vx ace in my 30 day free trial. This is beyond frustrating but I'll get through it. Thank you to everyone who supports this project and I hope you have a better eeek than I'm having.

Yikes, sorry to hear that, friend. That's happened to me twice already. =(

The only solution seems to be backing up as often as possible. Hope you're able to get your project back on track. (You may still be able to salvage some maps if you find the .lmu or equivalent map files in your project directory, though.)

If I knew how to make games, I would definitely do everything to help you, just keep hanging in there, you'll get it :o

Ha ha. the water really screwed with my computer yeah. Hehe but seriously it's crazy how something can get so screwed up in such a short period of time.
