I run a tabletop RPG scenario sometimes which is set in a world where humans are basically the bottom of the food chain. Everything that releases about F&H makes me want to get back into that and run another few sessions.

I really like how the tunnel curves a little and the "back" isn't in the center of the screen. It makes a great backdrop.

Also, is Mr. Lumpy here missing a hand?

I dunno. I only ever go to the videogame dev-related ones, and even then it's only when I remember they're there. My RMNing is mainly just hitting the notifications button:)

There's a table strategy game called Kingdom Death with a similar setting but it's sickeningly expensive and I've heard the execution isn't as good as it sounded on paper. Also note that a lot of the figures are nude but you've got dicks on your sprites so you likely don't mind that. There's a fan-translated japanese tabletop RPG called Nechronica but be warned that it has nudity too, but many of the characters appear underaged. In fact, the source books are illegal in Canada. A censored version does exist since a guy at game night was showing it off. But he either took the risk of making it himself or he got it from a site that's not easily found (or at least I never found it). The reason I mention that system is that the players are immortal. You get limbs hacked off and after the fight you just harvest them from your enemies and fix yourselves up. Your HP works more like a sanity meter.

The screen is here to show the dismember system. Mr. Lumpy has his arm cut off and also the other leg (it doesn't get fully dismembered, because the enemy would be floating in the air awkwardly otherwise). Also party members are missing limbs here too. Mercenary got left arm cut and Ghoul is missing both arms D:

Ah, yeah. "Strategic Dismember Combat". I should shut up and read:) I've always loved systems like that in jRPGs, rare as they are. Like, if he's got some huge cannon on one arm then break it and he can't use those attacks anymore. I bitch about FFXV for a lot of stuff but that's one thing I enjoyed about it.

I'm really looking forward to what this means for the players, though.
