Story
We remember the days controlling heroes of all kinds. We'd go through the towns and villages, making our way through all the houses, checking cabinets, dressers, grabbing treasure chests... The villagers always seemed so oblivious.
They weren't.
This is a story about a man named Tristan, a normal villager living his average life until one day he decides to purchase a present for his girlfriend. After hiding his present and proceeding about his day, he watches as a Hero promptly runs in and discovers his hidden present, taking it for himself.
Tristan will not stand for this.
Being the weak normal villager he is, he sets out to find ways to strengthen himself so he can defeat this hero and take back what was rightfully his.
But will it stop with just one hero...?
( This is a lighthearted game, there will be humor and plenty of casual conversations mentioning various rpg mechanics, such as characters talking about 'heroes taking things' and such. )
Features
(May be added to or altered, as game is still in production phase)
- Thought-provoking battles. Hitting a foe's elemental weakness will stun them, delaying their turn. (It also adds a stun resistance to prevent 'stunlocking' repeatedly) Hitting weaknesses also accumulates Tech points, which are used in various amounts to use more and more powerful skills during battle.
- Plenty of humorous dialogue and events to keep your playthrough lighthearted and fun.
- Equippable items. You must add food items in the equipment section of the menu to use them during battles. Think about which ones you need to bring with you into tough fights!
- To expand upon the above, eventually you will gain the ability to 'cook'. Combining two or more materials/food items to make stronger/versatile food for those tough battles that may lie ahead. Perhaps you want food that can boost an elemental resistance, or power up your characters' stats temporarily?
- You can pick 3 out of a total of 5 different, unique characters to choose from to take into battles with you. Each character learns skills in their own way, through events or collectible items.
- Customize your characters by learning and equipping various passives that alter their stats and battle performance. You can also equip accessories that grant the use of skills/magic while equipped to better prepare your characters for upcoming battles.
- Magic and Skill animations from my previous game, Terrarium, including some new ones to keep battles more fresh.
- Find rare and powerful artifacts/items that you can put in your home to attract parties of heroes from all over. Defeat them and claim their bounty as your own!
- 4 different difficulty modes to choose from that you can change from the main menu, ranging from Easy to Extreme. If battles are too easy or hard, adjust accordingly.
