Hello everyone! Here’s yet another review that’s filled with hype and wonder for the adventure-filled game called “Quester’s Quest” by unity! Knowing who the author was, I immediately know that I’m gonna be in a colorful, visually pleasing and fun-filled game, and I was right. xD The game was Made for the 2017 Winterruption Event, which means that it’s only supposed to feature a series of fetch quests and put aside the idea of having a main quest all together.

First Impressions:
Being able to create your character and choose an appearance is a really good go for a game like this. xD The visuals are JUST… I’m going to go with this deeper, later in the graphics part. :D The game immediately had me hook with its’ stunning visuals as well as interesting setting.

"Sephiroth has got to learn a thing or two from this slime."

Story:
You’re an agent working at an agency on a mysterious mountain, doing your best to aid everyone who is in need. The story really puts you in the shoes of your every-day quester who doesn’t happen to be the main-hero going on a journey to stop an evil over-lord. xD What made this game really interesting is that it gives you lots of perspectives on different kinds of clients, which allowed you to be a part of the personal stories that each unique characters or clients in this game holds. I just love that. :) (Also, dat bonus.) :D

"Hi Kloe! XD"

Gameplay:
The gameplay is very fast-paced, for a default turn-based. I really enjoyed the combat for its simplicity. I played in normal-mode, so I can only judge its balancing based on the default difficulty. Battles weren’t too hard nor easy, but it gave you a bit of a challenge to strategize properly (especially in bosses) if you wish to press on. I also love the way you gain rank in the guild, having more items to buy along the way. Dungeons were well-designed and are structured like labyrinths (Also, chests everywhere!! xD). Really gives the feeling of thrills in every new adventure. I also really liked the flexibility of the equipment, in that they are removed from temporary characters for your own use after-wards.

"Finally, bully big brother will stop now."

Graphics:
The graphics of this game are very stunning! It almost felt like you’re inside a story-book or something. xD They’re custom made with quirky cartoony designs that makes them look like fairy-tale illustrations (I especially loved the snowy parts). The enemy battlers were all very fun to look at. I am charmed by the visuals, really. The character sprites, surprisingly, were able to blend in perfectly well with these costume graphics. So Kudos to the choice of artistic direction in this game! ^_^

"OMG!! No spoilers! But this was unexpected!"

Music:
The music was very jamming and gets you hyped up quite easily. Very bright tunes and really fits the whole theme of the game. I do not know where the music came from, but they’re a nice touch! Epic sounding, sometimes jazzy. :D

OVERALL:
I like giving 5 stars, I just can’t help it! xP The effort, time and love put into this game made it deservingly so. Again, I have a bad habit of only making reviews for games that I thoroughly enjoy. xD But hey, at least people will know which games are fun, right? :D If you’re up for an RPG that’s fragmented into different stories and multiple fun adventures, then this game is definitely a must play!
