Name: All Bears Love Honey

Developer: darkotakusouls

Story: Mom's making her famous honey glazed bread! That means she's got extra jars of honey and she's sold them. That means she's going to send her little girl, Honey, out into a bear infested forest to deliver them. Yes! By all means! Send a little girl into a forest full of vicious animals with the very thing they go nuts over! What could possibly go wrong?

Would you like to do something for me? I just need you to put on this costume I drenched in honey and walk up to a grizzly bear!
Oh, don't mind this stuff! It's just your life insurance policy.

Gameplay: Game play is simple: keep away from the bears. You have six jars of honey. If a bear catches you, you'll have to sacrifice one. If you run out of honey...well...your name is Honey, right? This shouldn't be hard to figure out. The game is essentially a side quest. Deliver the honey to six people and avoid the bears. There's usually two to a map and there's a lot of maps. The houses can take a bit to find and the bears are not easy to avoid. If you get close enough, they'll chase after you. Unfortunately, you have to press enter once you reach a transition to the next map, which is pretty obnoxious and make escaping a bear really frustrating if you're playing with the mouse. The game really wasn't too bad. The game does take a couple of cheap shots in the form of bears being positioned to immediately pursue you the moment you enter the map, but it looks like their position is randomly set with each transition.

Graphics: RMMV RTP, and the girl's face chip was custom. I believe the bears were also custom. Very nice mapping. No problems here. Maps have a maze-like quality that add to the challenge.

Bear apocalypse! If I see a bear carrying a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, I'm outta here.

Music: Mostly RTP. I think the title song might be from a pack, or possibly ripped.

Oh, thank you dear! I'm sure it's perfectly normal for a mother to send her little girl to certain death!

Conclusion: It's a nice idea for a side quest. As a game, it's primarily exploration and avoidance, so don't expect a riveting experience.
