Love and War is a tale taking place on the world of Terra. Ever since the birth of the first nation-state on this world, Terra has been wracked by the scourge of war. Five nations managed to survive throughout the ages, yet it seemed as though with each passing day, humanity slipped closer and closer to self-annihilation.

One man made a difference, however. The youthful Emperor of the Zion Empire, Geraud Valtemond, was this man. A brilliant, honorable, and benevolent monarch, he managed to open the eyes of the leaders of the other nations, showing them what lay ahead if Terra persisted down this road. Through diplomacy and sheer force of will, Lord Geraud created the Commonwealth; an international governing body, comprised of democratically elected representatives and Peacekeeping Forces, which would forever make war a thing of the past.

Three centuries have elapsed, and people have forgotten the lessons of the past. Tensions are rising between nations once again, and it seems as if the Commonwealth is powerless to do anything but watch as its order crumbles. Can one man make a difference, once again?

Steady....steady....
I have 2 problems with the level 10 arrchery test for Lavie

For about the last hour of gameplay, Ryan (and now Lavie) are walking at about half speed - animated NPCs are moving at the correct speed, but not the main characters. Does this explain why the aiming sights in the test moves at a painfully slow speed, making it enormously diffficult to move it around to screen to get a target?

I've done this mini-game 11 times now and on each occasion, some of the targets stay on the sand, where I can't go, for ages - the longest being 54 seconds - so no new targets appear. It is, therefore, impossible to complete in the time limit.

What, if anything, can I do?
Thanks
Howdy, littlebro! Sorry to hear about the problems you're encountering... It sounds like the movement speed has gotten lowered at some point (and I'd bet it has something to do with Ozunhold, sigh). If you could e-mail me your save file, I'd be able to fix that. Not sure what is going on with the mini-game, but I hope resetting the speed would help to mitigate that.

Oh, yes, played this ages ago and really enjoyed it, good game, lots of fun!
Happy to hear it, Chana. = ) Hope you enjoy the revamp when it's released!
cant wait for the revamp should be fun
Another one here with the Ozunhold speed bug I'm afraid! Wicked game though.
Zazur: Agh! Sorry to hear about that. Please do go ahead and send me your latest save file, and I'll fix the speed up. Glad to hear you're having fun, bug aside. = )
What is gonna be the difference besides the graphics if you can tell us.
I had a problem with a save,
and it literally DELETED my entire game,
but the save is still in the game folder.
I was all the way at the fort when I tried to save I got
"Memory overload" or something,
and the game crashed completely.
That's very, very odd... I've never heard of that particular error happening before, or of entire games being deleted somehow! One question: by any chance, did you run the game directly in the zip file? It really needs to be extracted directly to your hard drive. That's probably the only thing I can think of...
It has been fully extracted I'm very sure of.
If it wasn't I couldn't play the game. When I looked,
My save file is still there,
but it says it has 0KB,
compared to my other save which says 14KB.
I go to bring up the same,
and only the Save file from the VERY VERY beginning, with Keleb(Hard to remember names) and Samath, but my actual game isn't there.

But seriously from what I played,
I started this game,
And COULDN'T STOP.
It's incredible.
Very, very odd. I'd ask you what operating system you're using, but I don't know if it would tell me much! Hmm... Tell you what, send me both your save games (ofloveandwar AT hotmail.com) and I'll have a look. If nothing can be salvaged, perhaps I can send you a save file close to where you were last, or something along those lines. :)
I would do that,
but I accidentally saved over trying to start a new game D:
I was gonna save if to see if there would be something you could do,
but my puppy walked across my keyboard as I was saving,
and saved over the save slot I was trying to not save on.
(More like she jumped on it, and landed on my laptop)
I could only send you the save file I had from the VERY beginning where you play as Kaleb(still doesn't look spelled right) and Samath.
That's some bad luck! No, that was definitely not Lucky... And you probably don't have any other saves, I presume. Oh well... If you'd still like me to send you a save file, just send me an e-mail with a few notes, if you recall (where you were, what decisions you made in the past) and hopefully that strange "Memory Overload" bug will never return. :)
Ah thank you so much!
I hope it doesn't either!
Me again.
I HOPE the revamped version makes it a little easier to get things to heal my HP AFTER the queen worm boss thing.
BECAUSE of that battle,
I have no elixirs or anything,
so when I try to fight that stupid traitor guy,
it becomes impossible to beat.
Especially with me having the WORST luck with actually fighting ANY type of strategy game.
OVER ALL this game is pretty fantastic.
Ah, did you head to the store in Lorean (or Trinden) to buy more items after the Queen Worm? Perhaps reloading a save and doing so would help, if you can.
