Well now, it's been a long road, getting from there to here... It's been a long time, but my time is finally near! ...and before I quote any more of the intro to Star Trek: Enterprise, allow me to announce that the revamp of Love and War: Act I is out!

Phew. Wipe-the-brow, am I right? This was a truly exhausting endeavor, begun in late
2010. Though I always tried to temper my optimism with realism, never did I think it would take almost two years to complete the "bells and whistles" of voice acting and new artwork (and the latter is technically not complete, oh well). The final script weighed in at over 1,600 voice acted lines, and 117 pages. Perhaps it's a minor miracle that the voice acting was completed at all, even with me making frantic cuts here and there, trying to reduce it to something more "manageable"! In the end, given the amount of frustration and heartache that was involved, I find myself wondering if it was worth it. I think so, in all honesty, I really do. Still, I'm not sure if I'll stick with voice acting in any of my future projects... so please, give me your feedback. Tell me what you think! I certainly like the voice acting, but do you? Feedback from you, the player, will very much influence my future decisions in that regard.
As I often do, I think I'm rambling incoherently here (need sleep), so I'll cut things short. I hesitate to ask this, but I figure it couldn't hurt too much... Times are kind of tough around my neck of the woods, and so if you happen to have a little extra money burning a hole in your PayPal account and are willing to part with it, I would greatly appreciate any contribution you might be willing to make (ofloveandwar@hotmail.com). A kind word or two would also certainly make my day. Even a kind thought would be nice! I, um, won't actually be able to hear your thoughts, but well... it's the thought that counts, right? Ba dum tish? :)
That should just about wrap things up. I am eternally grateful to all those who contributed to Team LAW, especially SGCN, without which this revamp would simply not have been possible. Please enjoy, let me know what you think, and I'll see you out there in the Kingdom of Galvenia!
