Ellohay everyone! This is Jen from Jen&Sis.
MMMEEEEEWWWWW! This is Sis from Jen&Sis!
I hope everyone is doing well! My apologies for not posting an update last week. I had to go out of town (again), and I thought I was going to have time to post, but I got busy, so I had to push the update for this week.
Geez Jen. You can't be slacking.
Slacking!? Y'know what, you better hush before I rain terror down upon your soul!
Anyway, we really don't have a HUGE update, but I'm happy to say the bad ending we were working on is complete! It took a bit longer than we expected, because I had a lot of work to do for my job, and Sis was busy working her job.
I just noticed, we sure do work a lot. We need a vacation.
I hear you on that, but hey, someone has to pay the bills. But Sis, how about you tell them what we are working on next.
OKAY!!!! So, the next thing on our list is to get the last bad ending done. The wording is pretty much done, but we have to do some sprite editing for a cinematic event. After that bad ending is complete, we have to work on a very important event and then we will be moving on to doing the credits. So exciting!
Oh man Sis, you stayed pretty professional. I'm really impressed.
Hee hee. Thanks Jen.
But like Sis said, we are getting the last bits done. Hopefully we don't run into any hiccups, because sometimes when we be on a roll, our game likes to crap out on us, so keep your fingers crossed for no interruptions.
Okay, I'll keep my fingers crossed until next week.
Sis, that's not going to be a good idea. If you keep your fingers crossed, who's going to help me finish the game?
...Oh, I knew that. I was just...um, kidding. Hey, stop looking at me like I'm a dum dum!
*rolls eyes* Yea sure. Anyway, that's all for today and this is Jen&Sis, signing off.
Ellohay everyone! This is Jen from Jen&Sis!
Mew! This is Sis from Jen&Sis!
Alright, we can finally give you all an update on where we are at with VoF. We apologize for not posting last week, because I was out of town, and Sis was busy with work.
Yea, working sucks. I wish everything was free, so I would have more free time to make sandwiches...oh, and work on games!
I'm glad you said that last part because I was about to come after you. Anyway, to the update! At this moment, we've gotten the neutral ending completely done and we are currently working on another bad ending. Just to let people know, this is the ending list, so you can understand how many endings that need to be worked on. You know, Sis, why don't you tell them. I've spoken enough already.
Leave it to me. Okay everyone, the ending list is:
- 5 Bad Endings (3 Done)
- 1 Neutral Ending (Done)
- 1 Unfortunate Ending (Done)
- 1 True Ending (Done)
We are close to getting another bad ending done, but we had to do some sprite editing because we had an idea for the cinematic event.
But that is all we have for you guys! If you have any questions or concerns that you would like to ask Sis and I, please don't hesitate to ask. We love talking with you all. It makes us feel special.
Yea! It makes us feel like celebrities.
But anyway, that is all we have for you today-
Wait! I want to do the outro! PPPPPLLLLLLEEEEAAASSSSEEEE!?
Haha. Sure, have at it.
Yay! Okay- *clears throat* That is all we have for you all today and we will be sure to update you all next week. This is Sis from Jen&Sis, signing off.
Ellohay everyone! This is Jen from Jen&Sis.
It will be just me today, because this will be a very short update!
First off, I'm feeling better. Being sick for 2 weeks was very draining and horrible, and I did have some close calls of getting sick again, because mother nature has not been kind with the constantly changing weather. If the weather isn't consistent, my asthma starts to act up, which causes me to get really sick. But enough with the medical report, I want to get to the VoF update.
I'm happy to say that we've finally got some of the endings under control. I personally added some flair to the existing cinematic events, and I had to make a puzzle from scratch (which took a bit of time). But I'm happy to say that we can finally move on to the last bit of the VoF story. So currently, we are about 90% done with the game!
HOLY CRAP! 90%!?
Sis!? What are you doing here?
My Sis senses were tingling. You know when my Sis senses get to tingling, I have to see what's going on.
Yea yea, I know. But yes, we are 90% done with the game. Can you believe it? We started this game 4 years ago, and we barely knew how to work RPG Maker.
Oh man, don't remind me. That struggle was extra real!
But this was suppose to be a short update, so Sis and I need to get going. There is work to be done. So, with that being said, this is Jen&Sis, signing off.
Ellohay everyone. I'm Jen from Jen&Sis.
Mew! This is Sis from Jen&Sis, coming at cha!
*cough cough* Geez, this cough just won't go away.
*hiss* Stay away from me. I don't want to get sick from your nasty germs!
Well dang, tell me how you really feel!
But I just did.
Omg. Anyway, I'll just make this progress report quick, so I can take my medicine and lay back down. Well guys, as you can tell, I'm sick. I've been ill for almost 2 weeks, but I'm doing okay for the most part, I just still have a bad cough and a cracked voice. Since I was sick, I wasn't able to reach my goal of having the true ending and the bad ending fully merged and completed. So, we will be working EXTRA hard to get back on track. We want those endings completely done by the end of this week, while also getting some of the other endings out of the way.
Oh no, not EXTRA hard. I won't be able to make it. We should just take a break-
Darn it, we don't have time for that. This game is already a year late. We have to keep working hard so we can get this game done before or on our release date-*cough cough*
All you need to do is get some rest and we can start everything back up when you're feeling better. I can't have you coughing and hacking all over the place.
You're right. Well, I'll get back to the game when I'm fully recovered. But when I'm good to go, you bet your hind parts I'll be getting a lot done! But that is all for today everyone. This is Jen&Sis-*cough cough*, signing off.
Ellohay Everyone. This is Jen from Jen&Sis!
It will just be me today, because Sis is taking her catnap right now. Anyway, I'm here with an update about Voices of Friendship.
First off, we are almost at the end of the game. We are currently merging one of the bad endings, and also working on the true ending. To be honest, it's going to take awhile to get the true ending finished, because I personally will be making a few changes to make it better, and I will have to do more sprite editing to make some of the cinematic events more appealing.
Secondly, I'm really excited that we finished designing the VoF rpgmaker.net page. It looks really nice, and I also added a tab so you can see some of the characters. Please leave a comment to let us know what ya'll think of them. I also credited Pixanna, because we wouldn't have the base for our characters without her wonderful generator.
Lastly, we will be trying our best to put up a progress report about VoF every Monday. We are working really hard on it, and it seems like each week, the game is getting closer to being fully complete.
Well, I think I pretty much got everything, so I'll be getting back to working on the game. That is all, and we are Jen&Sis, well um, this is Jen from Jen&Sis, signing off.
Ellohay Everyone. This is Jen from Jen&Sis!
Mew! This is Sis from Jen& Sis!
We are both here to give you an update on Voices of Friendship. Currently, the game is 75% merged. What does that mean you say? Well, to make things easier for Sis and I, we work on two separate game files, and then bring them together at the end. It may seem tedious and un-needed, but it's works for us, because we can both have all our ideas in the game, and we can comb through every detail while merging. We are both excited, because this game is nearly done, and we would love to just sit back and watch people play VoF, because we really need a break from working on this game.
You got that right. I just want to make tons of yummy sandwiches and be lazy. This game definitely took WAY too long to make.
I can't argue with you there. But that is all we have for you, and I will be taking a small break from merging, to get our RPGMaker.net public profile together. I'm tired of looking at such a boring game page, and I would like for it to be looking nice by the time our game is fully released. That is all, and we are Jen&Sis, signing off.
Ellohay everyone. I'm Jen from Jen&Sis. I wanted to come here and just express how excited I am that Voices of Friendship has been approved. We have been working on this game for 4+ years, and let me tell you, it has been a journey.
Like yea, a lllllooooonnnnnggggg exhausting journey. Oh heh, by the way, I'm Sis from Jen&Sis. I'm the brains and the brawn of the-
Alright, enough of that. No one wants to hear your nonsense Sis. Anyway, we are really excited that we can be part of the RPGMaker.net community and we hope that Voices of Friendship, and our future games are played and can bring a smile or a laugh to people around the world.
We will try our best to put progress reports out about the completion of the game, but we are trying our best to get it done before our release date!
