Hero's Realm: Heroic Edition
I always wanted to publish a game based on everything I enjoyed as a kid. This will be the end result.

Lead four heroes and their teams against the evil forces of Mephistocles, the Lord of Demons in this retro-RPG adventure. Switch between the four heroes as you explore dungeons, ascend towers, spelunk caves, save villages and defeat the forces of evil! Reminiscent of classic NES/SNES-era RPGs, Hero's Realm is a fun romp in old-school RPG nostalgia.
- Play as 4 powerful Heroes and their customizable party throughout a four chapter story, each with their own skillset & battle commands!
- Come together in the final fifth to adventure with all four parties - switching between them anytime, even in boss battles!
- Customize your heroes' party by selecting from 21 unique character classes split between the mage, warrior, and rogue specialties, including unlockable elite and master classes!
- 25 character classes (12 base classes, 4 hero classes, 6 elite classes, 3 master classes)
- Over 30 hours of game content and sidequests
- Classic NES-era and SNES-era RPG gameplay
- Multi-party switching system
- Multi-party tactical battles
- Expansive world map

Ice Ice Baby

I am in love with the ice palette I built from the palette Avee provided for me.
Still working towards creating animations, but my work has slowed down a bit this past month. Kids' activities have mostly wrapped up and so I don't have that quick hour multiple times a week to work on the game while they are swimming/waterpoloing/soccering/etc. Yardwork is also ramping up (we are reseeding the lawn and building a patio), and WORK is ramping up. This cuts down on the time I dedicate to this remaster, as it is a lower priority in my life (relatively). Sorry, heroes!
I am unreasonably proud of this ice sheet (geddit? "ice" sheet? It works on so many levels (two)!)
One of the first things I worked on after the last blog was a puff/explosion animation. This took WAY too much time for me to do.
But it will look pretty cool both on it's own, and coming out of the fissure. Also, I realized that if I rotated it sideways and recoloured, I had a decent "breath" attack.
Coming in oranges, purples, and greens flavours soon!
I made a quick mini-skull. I guess it's like, a skull bomb? idk.
On the "darkness" kick, I also made some little ghosties. I have plans for other dark/ethereal magics, but haven't gotten to them yet.
I know I have to make some item animations, I tried my hand at a few scroll designs.
I tried making another ice boulder, too.

Anyway, back to the palette.
I recoloured the awesome ice animations that visitorsfromdreams made for me in the new ice palette.

jokes aside, is there a commercial demo or commercial build available yet? publicly or privately? I kind of wanted to do a fan trailer for this ♥.
I also have a few ideas for this game since I've been playing it:
- Implement AR and VR like Jungle-themed games like Jurassic World or Five Nights at Freddy's
- Healthcare integrated games like Pokemon Go.
- Implement Teleport to be able to go between locations, any 2 locations in the map you can teleport using Teleport Stone
- Lottery gaming minigame like Jackpocket Lottery at any castle within the world
- Gift card game app like Lucky Scratch at any castle within the world
- Add Choices that Matter within game
- Multiplatform including Switch, PS5, Xbox One
- Allow map editor for Game, especially in maps to be able to give and take stats via Twitch Integration App
- Instanced Loot for each player
- Multiplayer
- Include High-octane immervise open world. This game already has open world but I thought I would suggest it
- Win an E3 Award
- Include 3D cinematic in the style of Final Fantasy XV. You can pay for animator via Fivvver. It can help, it's only $5 and you will be able to get professional animation it's not that hard.
- Full voice dialogue including Hollywood Actors which should be within your budget, after Patreon
- Discord Integration, allow Discord posts to influence actions
