First Look at Boss Battles - VIDEO!

Progress Update:

In this video, I wanted to showcase what boss battles will be like in Tunnels of Doom. These battles work different than regular enemy battles, particularly because of the size of the monster.

Bosses will turn purple before they use their special attack... and they will also TRAMPLE any players that get in way of their movement!

This is pretty slick. I like the concept. Are you working on a GUI for the final release that shows Player status? I'm assuming the boss animations are done using the picture/sprite option?

Also, is that message box going to be the final one used for the game?

Hi Zaeran!

I am working on a GUI.. I literally just learned how to use Pictures in lieu of events about 2 weeks ago. I've gotta say this has really unlocked a lot of possibilities! I want to have boss and player health meters. I'm not a fan of the message box for battle commands either, casting spells from scroll is painful and so I'll be seeking to revamp that menu system entirely, probably with pictures.

I'm releasing an update at the end of this month, and that should include these two boss battles... but in the actual dungeons instead of on this testing field.

I welcome any suggestions you have Zaeran!
