Master of Mayhem vs. Vampiros
It was a special season in RMN Land; For Christmas was once again in hand.

A magical time that filled all the developers hearts with cheer; While they filled their livers with gluten-free beer.

But there was one developer who would have none of that; No, he’d sooner bite the head off a live rat.

A member whose name and posts would make people flinch; It was Master of Mayhem, RMN’s personal Grinch.

Series Master! Part 1 - Under World
Welcome to my first round of articles for RMN! For Series Master, I plan to pay tribute to those creators who have managed to dedicate their time and patience over the years to their own franchise of games. Let’s face it, completing a game is hard enough, but committing oneself to a slew of sequels on top of it is pretty remarkable. Take it from me, it’s extremely difficult to continue on with one series when you have other experiments and ideas you want to try instead. So, our first interview is with Moam, creator of the Under World series.
The Legend of Ill Will Forever
To properly discuss Ill Will, you first must be familiar with its fairly notorious development cycle, which was something of a legend on RMN for a few years. This is an interesting topic for me to talk about, for you see, I was there when it all began…

It all started waaaay back during Game Chill, 2009. This was the first official event to ever take place on RMN, and everyone was very excited. A team, getting together to make a game in a mere two weeks? How exciting!

What is Looking Back? A series of articles talking about those classic Rpg Maker games from the past.

So begins the heavy religious overtones that echo throughout Zephyrus and the Kingdom of Heaven. You are Aegis, son of a powerful leader and mage as he witnesses the undermining of current beliefs and standards and the second coming of humanity's savior. Needless to say, this savior is not all that he's cracked up to be.

Throughout the many years I've been around this RPG Maker scene I have witnessed and enjoyed games of all kinds: some amazing, some horrible. From time to time there would come a game so promising, beautiful and inviting that it would wow the entire community into craving more information, screenshots or anything to quench that hunger and want.

Here is part one of those forgotten yet oh so promising projects that even today continue to haunt us with their beauty.

Dead Moon Night is a short, lighthearted RPG made by Indra and Fomar0153 for the All Hallows' Event contest. It's a fairly well polished game - especially when considering the time frame - though there are some breakdowns in gameplay and pacing, as well as a few minor faults in dialogue. Despite these issues, the game is very solid and I think players will enjoy it.
