I.Introduction

So before you go off on a little rant saying "why do you need to say how we import things it's been told hundreds of times", let me say this RPG Maker VX unlike the other RPG Maker Series has a different and somewhat frustrating way to import title screens and other resources such as Window Skins and Game Overs. Also you may notice on the RPG Maker VX Database no tab to change the Title Screen is there either.

II.How to Import Title Screens and other Resources.

After you create your title screen and make it the right size and what you want. Here is the step by step process how to import it and change the title screen to what you want.

A.Save the file as "Title"
B.Open up your Resource Importer in RPG Maker VX and import the title screen which we name "title". You will see the default title screen, which has a blue icon will be changed to "title" with a orange icon.
C.Congrats you've just imported and equipped your title screen.

The same goes for Window Skins and Game Overs. Except their file name will be named "window" and "gameover". Many people do get confused by this and it is not a guessable process if you played the other RPG Makers.

III.What to Avoid
There is one thing you must see before you go importing away. If you import the title screen of your own creation, the default one will be gone from your database. So for those who liked the default one or thought theres was just to bad, remember this risk. It would stink for you to have to keep a title screen that looks badly.

IV.Conclusion
Well I hope you've learned this lesson from RPG Maker VX. I know I'll get some people who will find thousands of reasons why this tutorial stinks. But hey everyone Game Designer and Programmer started somewhere. In the words of a great tutorial writer "even the best gamers where n00bs at once".
