I was going to say – where are all the guards? I mean, there’s one guy up there watching them eat and all (which is kinda creepy, actually), but there’s nobody else here besides those two… What, did Tristian and Ianna rent out the whole kitchen to themselves? (Those SOB’s…!)
Actually, you know what would be pretty cool? If you had a group of soldiers at the other table eating and drinking away while Tristian and Ianna are talking and eating their dinner and then one drunk solider comes up from behind to Tristian basically saying, “What the hell makes you so special, huh? You don’t even look that tough to me. Har, har, har / etc.,” and then Tristian basically beats the shit out of his drunken ass.
I mean, I forgot from the original build if the soldiers had a personal issue with Tristian being a higher class knight, her questionable leadership, her somewhat personal attachment to the Princess or the fact that she’s a woman and that might irk off some of the men here... Maybe you could incorporate something like that, that Tristian has to deal with along the way?
Either way, just thinking out loud…

Does the merchant only sell you six items at a time or you can buy more that’s not shown on screen? Also, if it is only six, are the items that he or she sells you random or predetermined?

Unless that’s part of the outer border of the text box, then yeah, I agree with Craze, you should probably just move the portrait a few spots downwards so it doesn’t have that annoying gap stick out.
And I’m starting to feel a bit bad for all the other characters that are involved in this game now. All I see lately are shots of Tristian’s crackers and princess waifu. I mean – where is the love for such supporting characters like Dante!? I mean, why can’t he get in on this action? I mean, if this was Siglud that we were talking about, then nothing would stop him from invading this scene.

...But I like now how each item on the shelf displays how many are left in stock before you need to re-stock the shelves again. That’s definitely a nice, welcoming change compared to the original version.
