STATUS

Yeah, so one of the main reasons why I haven’t been on that much this week (well, besides game making / writing reviews) is because my dad recently just got sick and had to be admitted into the hospital back on Sunday for two bacterial infections in his stomach. Poor guy couldn’t get anything down in regards to any food or water; he would just end up puking it back up. It was getting pretty bad for a while and even I was starting to get concerned.

He’s doing much better now – but, man, those hospital visits can be murder at times! Yeah, I understand it’s even harder for the patient being there, as he’s / she’s the one in there all day long with nothing to do other than just lie in bed, but visiting can sometimes originally go from being a two hour visit to a five hour visit. And the initial trip just to bring that person to the hospital may take even longer than that. I remember having a day off of work the first time my dad had to go in from something completely differently and I remember going in at 3 in the afternoon before finally getting out at 1 in the morning. Although, that time, the hospital was going through a massive construction job to expand its facilities, which are complete now, but it was just chaos in there before.

I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one who hates hospital visits, ain’t I? This is why I can’t wait when he gets out sometime this weekend. It also sucks getting lost all the time in there because most hospitals are HUGE and require asking at least three people there where this place is and where this place isn’t. Ugh.

Well, I gotta go back today to check up on him. Wish me luck! :D
