Now that the NHL and NBA seasons have all finished wrapping up, I guess this means I’ll have more free time now to do more stuff

Yup, it’s officially the offseason for me when it comes to T.V., now. No more coming home straight from work having to catch this said playoff game and having this catch this said playoff game now because it’s a game 7 or a do-or-die situation for one team - I’m finally free from television’s opposing grip. And although I do miss it a little, it is nice to finally have some more free time to work on my game, maybe write some more reviews and articles for the site again, and even play a couple of commercial games during the summer, because other than Smash 4 I haven’t played a single commercial game in almost a year. I can’t even remember the last game that I played on a console besides Smash. I guess I’m getting older and a bit more distant towards the medium now the further away that I get from it. I guess those are the breaks when you have more responsibilities and less time to do things than you were when you were a kid...

I mean, I know that the FIFA Women’s World Cup is still ongoing, but I’m only going to watch it if Canada’s in it or if it’s the finals. Baseball doesn’t interest me that much unless it’s the playoffs. And the NFL regular season is still weeks away…

So yeah, I guess I’m a free man until then. (How 'bout that?)
CFL is right around the corner
Oh yeah, lol, I forgot about the CFL.

I don’t really pay too much attention to it nowadays because the Lions haven’t been that good as of late and a lot of the players that I used to like watching back in the heyday, like Geroy Simon and Brent Johnston, have all basically flown the coop and have all moved on. I mean, the Lions have a couple of good players in their system right now, but they’re in no way in the same league with teams like the Stampeders, Tiger Cats or even the Alouettes. I mean, they’re better than Toronto – that’s for f**king sure – but it’s gonna be a while before they’re contenders again.
You really haven't been paying attention, because the Alouettes are tanking fast. Stamps, Riders, Edmonton, and Tiger-Cats are the stronger teams nowadays.

Though Lulay is back with the Lions (for at least half a game before he reinjures his shoulder. again.)

Wait…it’s only been one game! I wouldn’t rush to such conclusions yet. Besides, the season is still young...

As for Lulay and the Lions, it’s pretty much almost a guarantee that he’s going to go down with something in the next couple of weeks.
