So I just got a call from someone who’s from Saskatchewan and I instantly thought to myself when I was picking up the phone, *gasp* “Is kentona trying to phone me about something?”
Expected real call to be a scam posing as some police force canvasing for an anti-bullying initiative. That's been 90% of the spam calls I've gotten in the last couple months, but I don't know if that's going on in BC.
So, a woman is pulled over by a state trooper. When he gets to her window, she says, "Let me guess: you want to sell me tickets to the Louisiana Patrolman's Ball."
The trooper says, "No ma'am. Louisiana patrolmen don't have balls."
He stops and thinks for a moment, tips his hat to the lady, goes back to his car, and drives off.

Nah, I haven’t had anything like that (…yet).
The only spam related calls that I’ve gotten in the past was for an IRS scam saying that I owed them some money and if I didn’t happen to pay up I would go straight to jail (lol) and some guy calling all the way from India claiming to be working for Microsoft tech support – but I already knew that was a scam way in advance thanks to watching a news story on that beforehand.
