About me:
Pun loving Canadian, friendly neighbourhood "Ace", and Narrative Designer at Nine Dots Studios.
I've been a huge fan of RPGs (especially turn based ones) since I was young, and it warms my hearts to be able to make RPGs that other people can enjoy.
I thrive on crafting stories that others enjoy, as well as finely tuning combat to be challenging, but fair.

A lovecraftian event?!
GIMME! DAT! SHIT! :D I love the Mythos!
(In fact, I'm sad that my lovecraftian dungeon crawler from last year's theme roulette wound up being...Something I wasn't super sure how to turn into a game worth making a gamepage for)
I can't guarantee that I'll be able to complete a full game so soon after the last event (that I'm still tired from and thinking of tweaking/improving)...
But Imma damn well try. I can't let down Mirak's BEAUTIFUL animated Pixel Tentacles and Comic Sans font. :D

If there's any improvements or feedback you want to offer, please do! :) I'm going to be adding more stuff to it for a proper Gamepage release eventually.

Edit: If you're concerned about being able to finish the game in a stream without Game-Overing and needing to start over, definitely pick the "Mild Debt" option in my game.
The default debt level is harsh, but doable...But if you goof up and end up in an impossible situation, you're kinda boned. Fine if you're just playing it, but if you aim to complete it on stream, maayyybe not advisable unless you wanna be really hardcore. XD
I do think I have a rep for mechanically complex, difficult games on the default difficulty at this point. XD Underestimate the suffering I'm willing to inflict at your peril.
Windows 11 [Update - Ridiculous Min Requirements]
I am FINALLY satisfied with Windows 10. After like 2 years of major issues, and about 3 more where it's been ok.
I have no interest in upgrading until 11 is in a good, comfortable state. And not until I need to reformat or change my hard drive.

Alright, not touching RPGmaker for at least a week, I need time to recover. :P I spent most of my last 2 weekends on the thing!

I am juuuust about done.
The game is fully playable from start to finish and mostly just needs some minor tweaking in a few key spots. Should have it uploaded sometime on monday night.
Also, I played a little fast and loose with the image I was given for the prompt, it's more of a thematic inspiration, and an NPC says *almost* those words in the ending. XD
I hope that's ok, seeing as I really leaned into the "Jobs" word inspiration quite literally.
