I would have liked to see more female characters. Right now you just have the generic Strong Female Character who has practically no other traits. Why couldn't Corbin be a girl? Why couldn't the sane, intelligent character who has more than one personality trait be the woman? Why couldn't it be the mother, not the father, who features in the prologue? Why not a priestess instead of a priest, especially since they have a female goddess?

I like seeing strong female characters too, I don't see enough of them but I like seeing strong male leads too. (It was a short game or we would have seen more writing and characters) There seems to be a stereotype in a lot of works I've read though where it's the girl who gets to plate the sane intelligent character with more than one personality trait and the guy gets stuck just being there. I'd say why not have the dad escort his son instead of the mom? Both parents would work for the role played in the story Zophie did have some more traits implied in the menu conversations as did Agiel so it kinda helps.

The writing was still wonderful.

I did start to download it, but Chrome stopped the download saying there was malicious software. You may wish to double check everything. In the meantime, I will probably be checking my own settings and running virus scans.

I really wanted to play this. It looks so gorgeous.

I appear to be stuck on what to do after getting back a level 19 Vane at the Temple of Holies. He said something about a sealed temple and how we needed to find information but I cannot find anything in the places I've been. Did I hit a glitch? Curse my impatient dialogue skipping and button mashing. The switch is not in the library nor any of the other rooms open to me. The guard won't let me search the dorms so the switch better not be in there.

Oh, Roy, do you have the 2003 RPGmaker runtime package already? I think that's what it is called anyway.

Oh! Another thing I found amusing. In Vivica castle when you first go to see the King you can explore on the roof to chat with the guards. I found a consistent glitch where the ladder on the left roof tower stuck Solian in perma-climb mode through the world map and such. The way to get him out of it was to climb to the top of the ladder on the right and then leaving that tower would remove the climbing animation and put Solian back into boring old walking.

I found the best glitch ever. Post final evolution into a Chaos dragon, my pressing up during a cutscene in front of the palace seems to have made it so I moonwalk. Everywhere. I have entered battles and left rooms and even used the Alden Relay. He still faces forward now matter what direction he walks.

It's wonderful.
