Quite surprised to see this review in my notice list!
But yeah the scripts are super buggy, if I remember that crash you got from on the map was from monster pathfinding being wonky. And I remember finding the glitch with skill orbs, I think that one really killed my motivation to work on the game. You're right about it being an interesting learning experience though.

By the way, are you still concerned with monster density after the first dungeon? I know the first three areas have way too many fights, so I specifically placed them more sparingly when doing the later areas. If it still feels like too many, I may have to rethink how to handle encounter design.

What Darken is getting that is the audience that can put up with grinding is very small in the RM community. Slower-paced gameplay just isn't all that popular around here.
Path of Light (V1.1 DEMO RELEASED) Review
Thanks for the review. Story obviously seems to be the weakest part of my game. I'm going to go through all the old scenes and see what I can change so it sounds better. In the next area there will be numerous new spells and skills to learn. I can't do much with the enemies in the first area of my game due to the lack of customization that's available so far.
