CloseThat was like the only reason I was thinking of buying it. This HD collection has been in development for, let's say, 2 years. Why did they not add this option?
KHFM in 1.5 got it, because they realized that watching cutscenes over and over again was stupid. And 1.5 was made around the same time as FF10HD.
Without that option, there's pretty much no reason for me to buy it. If they had added it, then I would be so much more interested.

The only reason KH got it is because the PS2 version of KHFM had it.
But the real reason not to buy it is the butchered soundtrack.

PS2 emulation reigns supreme: We may not be able to skip cutscenes but we can fast-forward through them!

That’s stupid. It’s not like it’s an extremely hard feature to implement in, ya know.
I guess they just want us to relive THIS classic scene from one of this game’s many highlights:
