Music is not there for the character to hear, but for the player to know the character's mental and emotional state. But unlike with the pain and the physical effort of game characters, experiencing their internal thoughts and feelings by the player is often the intended result. That's the immersion.

I myself am looking to make a alice in wonderland themed game but cannot find sprites like the one in this game. Is there any ways you would be willing to share the sprites and character art. I love the look of the characters and would love to be able to use them in my game.
Yeah, apparently they had some drama about their terms of use for the VX cover art characters being 'vague' that caused a huge issue with Enterbrain/Kadokawa itself.
