ASALIERI'S PROFILE

Search

Sup, folks.

I've returned to see what's happening these days on RMN.

And er... that's all.

About me? Uh... I er... I like to play games for the most part, and I like reviewing RPGMaker games.
I also dabble in video/voice work.

Tellahvision 2: Quick Updates!

So, now that RMN's mafia trend has forced me to pay through the nose for internet, I have decided to reopen the review thread!

Recently:
Secrets of the Light by Gemini, A runthrough the intro:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2qZikrau74

Actually, after playing some more games, I decided one of my gimmicks will be...
I will do a running commentary of people's INTROS. You can tell a lot of what
a game is going to be like from what the intro sounds like. Darksteel will definitely have an intro runthrough video.

Intro Runthrough video:
In queue:
Narcodis' Darksteel.

Regular review in queue:
Karsuman and Craze's V&V. Played, in the middle of making video
Narcodis' Darksteel. Played all through intro.
Fallen Griever's Sore Losers. Played and got lost in it a little

Requests:
None yet, will stop taking new requests when I get to around 6 or so on the cue.

To Film a Game.

Real quick question (as are most questions, I guess)

How can I make a video of an RPG Maker game? Say I want to make a video of my gameplay,
how can I capture what's on my computer? What program should I use?

Thanks!

enjoy!

3Hour1 had 8 Participants in it
3Hour2 had 10! Huzzah!

Add A Caption!

It's simple. I'll post a pic, you write a caption for it. After about 10 or so, I'll switch the pic, or ask someone else to post a pic to be captioned.

Here you go, have fun! (test out that funnybone!)

KWIK-E Kweshchun!

Quick question, how do you do the spoiler thing so people can click on something
to reveal the spoiler? I can't seem to figure it out. Help?

Thanks!

Anagram it!

Take any game title or username on RMN and make an anagram out of it!
Try to make em' as wacky as possible!

For those of you who want to know, an anagram is where you take all the letters of one word and use them to spell another word or phrase.

Example:

Harmonic = I, Monarch

or

Mage Duel = Glue Made

or

Pokemon Hunter 4 = 4 The Norm, No Puke

Have at it!

Hideous Text Fix for RM 2003

I've noticed a few games made with RM 2003 have a hideous and barely legible text when I
play them. Now, I remember a few days ago someone said something I missed on IRC about
there being a way to correct this problem so that I can read what has been written in a game.

Can someone help me with this? If it isn't relevant or there is a place I should be looking elsewhere for this answer, please let me know!

Thank you in advance.

Asa's Tellahvision *SkyE reviewed!*

Having no project in the works and waiting for inspiration to hit for a game, I've looked around RMN's gamelist to get a good idea of what's out there, and observe the trends.

I've written a couple of reviews already, and several people have had the opportunity to have one-on-one honest criticism from me. I call it like I see it, from the point of view of an old school gamer. Just so I am not reviewing things at random, as I did with Suteki, a game I chose at random, I am offering to review your game! You as in, the game-maker that wants to hear feedback in order to work out the kinks and potentially improve on your project.

I am going to review in a number of different ways; I will do audio reviews, I will try video reviewing at some point, I am happy to sit with you and discuss your game with you, and as usual, I provide my own screenshot perspectives too!

Stop on by, I love games! Even the worst game needs players, and the best ones need an audience to delve into them and acknowledge their greatness!

Show me a game, and i'll show you a willing player! I'll cut the list off at whatever point I feel like I have enough on my plate, of course!

Am I oficially registered?

Ok, this is rather troublesome, almost everything I want to do, I get this:

"Hey there was an error! There's a good chance we know about it and we're sorry."

I try to submit a review? I get that. I try to submit a game? I get that, I try to change my settings, I get that...

Can an admin check if it accepted my e-mail or something?

I Appreciate the help! Max is waiting for me to review his game, and I mustn't keep him waiting!
