Monster Mash!

Already I'm seeing some imaginative designs! I dig the puppet swordsman, the killer clock, the bladed three-headed turtle and the multi-eyed green slime myself. Though the double-eye-and-nose giant skull kinda gives me tryophobia, for some reason.

Updates and release

I can't say how soon I'd be available to give the game a spin, but I would be interested in playtesting it more? I loved what I've seen so far.

Minor tweaks, rmners included and credits

I'm grateful for the opportunity to be the healer NPC (I think?), let alone that you found a lion! I somewhat expect that Rachel would cuss out whoever hurt the player characters, heh.

Maybe someday we can get Lavy, Soul and Awe, and RMAddict in one of these? But I am biased for those four, heheh. I'm liking this recent trend of shorter community games. Fun game, Pudding~

Calabozo: The Curse

Daaaang. That's certainly one way to turn the trope of "character gets powers from personal epiphany or arcane puberty" on its head. Seems there's a risk and reward to having a Cursed character. It's also awesome to see a scrapped idea evolve into this concept. :o

Making Eylin Better

Minor random goodies in various containers seem good, as does upping the potency of existing loot. I can't make any other suggestions yet, but I'm grabbing the game in a few as I've got my paycheck for this week.

EDIT: Actually, as it's a Steam game? If it's not done already, I'd vouch for at least a .txt file as a manual? Something to hint at lore, but also explain the mechanics without spoiling much. I'd vouch for it feeling like an old-school manual that does both, which I sorely miss. Might even work up to a dedicated PDF with illustrations, etc in the future.

MZ vs Ace for Muffle Quest

Alright. Lot of stuff to process. My tl;dr going in is to not shift engines if you're this far into the game. This is before reading the info, as you'd wanted those interested in the project to give their thoughts.

As a VX Ace user myself, I can see wanting to jump ship. Many times, anything MV can do, VX Ace can do better. At least, that's how I sell it to myself. Well... MV does it easier, and can do more complex things. MZ's new additions look absolutely amazing. I'm totally getting into the free trial for the upcoming event, and would totally buy it. Maybe not even look back.

The caveat to that is, well, how much of others' hard work toward the Quest will go to waste? How much can be converted over to MZ? I'd imagine the basic database stuff will convert over just fine into MZ, if it's similar to MV. After all, MV did the same as VX Ace. As someone who's commissioned people for assets, and feel bad that I'll probably not use them with my current asset style (*coughmirakcough*), I would worry myself.

Ultimately, the decision is up to you. I ask that you think about how much of the current game is complete, and how much help others had contributed that can't carry over.

I see! Sorry that the dialogue is hard to understand for non-English readers. If there's any way I can make translation easier, let me know? I've been told the font is hard to read due to how I formatted it.

I'm glad you liked it as it is, though. There are bits I'm not happy with but I can take the advice given moving forward. And do let me know when the play-and-review is finished? If there's English subtitles at the least, I'd be interested to check it out.

Hey, that's fantastic news. Congrats on completing the game. I've never been able to find RM95 so I have no idea how awkward it is to use; I'm glad you finished it in spite of that.
