Ooooh. Still looks good though, heheh. Not enough non-horror games used this effect, and it helped to uphold that Wizardry inspiration from the original DQ. :o

I really like those up-close battlers! Reminds me of battles from The Dark Spire, where enemies aren't shown at a safe distance but up and in your face.
