The old logo needed an update since it wasn't pixelled that well, and hey, it should portray the increase in gore as well right?

...Strangely enough, when I show someone the old logo, they're usually like "aww man that's disgusting" or "you're sick," etc., but when I show someone the new logo the response is usually "Woah, that's pretty cool." :S

What's wrong with a big head? It can either portray a younger character (say 14-16 in this case), or it can just be a toon-style. If the style of the game is more whimsical (EG: FF IX), then it works great, as long as things are consistent to that style.

Considering how little is posted about this project, I'd wait until later to see if the head size is a problem.

I love the rockface and slope areas: the colour choices in particular are spot on. The grass however is a little plain and has some "grid" left in it. I'd suggest adding in another type of grass (probably a lighter shade) so you can make some more interesting patterns. Either that, or add in dirt tiles.

Also, I'd like to see some kind of connection between the trees and the grass. Maybe some roots, or just some more grass growing up by it?

Finally, I think some shadows under the trees in the top-left could give the scene a big visual improvement.

I will admit, I did not think of the possibility of a seizure while I was making this game. However, the possibility would seem rather slim: photosensitive seizures are very rarely caused by changes in colour alone (brightness is usually the problem), and usually takes a quick flash to do so. The game doesn't have flashes, and only changes the hue and not the luminance.

I doubt there will be a problem, but there's always a possibility. More likely I guess it may cause you to get a bit dizzy.
