STATUS

Should I put the game (TRASH PLANET) on Steam in addition to RPG Maker? Thinking of doing RPG Maker, Steam, and Itchio. Free on RPG Maker, and name your own price on the other two (if possible). Let me know what you think if you're reading this!

Does Steam do a name your own price?

Also, yeah, totally. People cross-post all the time. I did that with some of my completed games on GameJolt back in the day, for example.

I'm not sure if Steam does name your own price, but if not they totally should allow for it. I don't know if I'm comfortable charging a set amount for my game, if anything, since I'm just making it myself in my free time.

Steam does not do Pay What You Want, unfortunately (one of the biggest changes I wish they would make). You can either put it up there for free or make it the minimum of $0.99 USD.

Interesting. Maybe put it up there for free with a paypal / Kofi / donation link in the comments? I don't wanna ask people for money, really, but if they're willing to chip in a buck or two I'd be fine with it. I might also make merch instead of charging. I'm in a band and know screen printers and could easily get some shirts made or something

No. I would stick with rmn, gamejolt, itch and maybe rmw or rmc.
