[RM2K3] Importing Bitmap Charset, but Color Distorts

Hello All:

I'm trying to import charsets and tiles into RM2K3, but when I save as bitmap the color distorts. Am I supposed to save as bitmap? I can't save the paint file as PNG or the file cannot be accepted into RM2K3.

This has not happened to me before when I used Windows XP (a 32 bit computer.) I am now using a Windows 7 (64 bit computer) Is it because I am using the different computer, or am I doing something wrong when I save the file?

[RM2K3] Sharp TV not letting me do Full Screen

I am unable to view RPG Maker 2003 games in full screen with my new TV.

I just got myself a new Sharp TV "32- Class. Model:LC-32LB261U. My PC is connected by a VGA cable. When I run an RM2K game, I get a TV prompt that says "unsupported mode." I get out of full screen, and my PC is normal again. Window mode (smaller screen) is fine, but full screen mode is better and faster.

Note: Applications that do work on full screen: Spelunkey, ZSNES, Touhou, NNNester, NEStopia (does not.) Star Stealing Prince (does.) Everything I tried in AV input (game consoles) all work.

Methods I tried:
-Pressing view mode on my remote from "wide" to "normal" mode.
-640x480 screen resolution and running in 256 colors in compatibility mode.
-Calling a Sharp TV phone representative (I even asked the rep. where I could search next for my inquiry. She had no possible lead.)

I want to be able to play RM2K games in full screen. Any help will be appreciated.

This is Biggamefreak and My Passion is Video Games

My username is Biggamefreak It was "biggamefreak," but I asked Kentona to capitalize my name on that error. (Funny..Kentona's username is not capitalized...)

My passion is video games and my favorite genres are RPG, action adventure, and platform games. I always do my best to study the history of video games from 1967 to 2012. I can't pick a favorite game, but I can tell you which genre I gravitate towards most. I recently beat Threads of Fate and I am working on Metal Gear Solid 4, Atelier Iris and Atelier Totori. In RPG Maker games, I am working on LockeZ's "Vindication". The Final Fantasy humor and systems are definitely my taste. I'm defending the rebel camp after escaping the castle and obtaining the death scroll at the end."This is it?.. This is all what we came down here to.."(Hope the item helps)

I am currently working on a non-linear fantasy RPG with just 1 hero like in Dragon Quest 1. Other games like Nethack, Elder Scrolls, and MMORPG's have this single player perspective (player relationships in MMORPGs are present, but YOU control one person), however I am drawing the most inspiration from Dragon Quest 1. The engine I will use will be RPG Maker 2003 and I will consider converting to RPG Maker 20XX if I feel it is compatible enough for me. I'm working on putting abilities in items to try to have the single hero have many strategies in many environments while still keeping that mainstream fantasy feel. This will my first 6-8 hour game project and I hope it plays well.

I am glad to be a a part of RMN.
