Large Choices

Wow, much more easy to use than other extra choices scripts I've seen. Very nice, will be using!

Creepy, in a surreal sort of way.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

Sorry, sorry: a LOT of a clusterfuck. The abilities from the previous games (the psyche locks, Apollo's bangle thing) are featured really briefly and it lends itself, to me at least, to feeling disjointed. In fact, I think you only use Apollo's a couple of times. I mean, none of these are particularly spectacular (we're all here for the trials and interrogating, am I right?) but just swapping through them like that is a bit... fickle? It feels gimmicky. Why not just focus on Athena's mood thing?
Don't get me wrong: it's a good game. It just doesn't feel as cohesive as the earlier titles.

Pocket Mirror Classic (2016)

Very pretty and nice atmosphere. I'm interested in seeing more...

Sexuality and Diversity in games

I think the main problem with gay/non-white characters, as Chivi-chivik alluded to, is that being gay IS their character. An interesting character is never defined by a single trait. Being gay or whatever should be an ASPECT of a character. It's as much a crime to writing to have a tough, basketball-playing black dude (just to pick out a stereotype...) as it is to have a rogue character just be a backstabbing cat-burglar.
It's boring and two dimensional. If you write a character as a three dimensional person, then there's no reason why anyone should hate a gay/non-white character, just because of that one aspect of their person.

Very Pink Game

Love the graphics. All the little townsfolk had plenty of personality.
The bit at the end on the hill was super pretty.

Rogue-likes for the Less Hardcore

You could try the PS1 game Azure Dreams. It's somewhere between a dungeon crawler and a roguelike. It's also fairly forgiving and the town building is cool.

The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games are shockingly good, too. The first in the series even has a good story.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

Just finished Chrono Trigger (I first played it a few years ago, but didn't finish it) and now I'm playing Fire Emblem: Awakening and the new Phoenix Wright. I'm really loving FE:A, but PW is a bit of a clusterfuck. It's alright, I guess. I like the graphics, though. They're a surprisingly decent transition from 2D to 3D.

Where do you get original materials for your project? Post about it here!

[Poll] Is Piracy Ethical?

author=SnowOwl
If it's from some bigwig company I couldn't care less about the CEO getting a couple of dollars less for his christmas bonus, but if it's from a small indie-dev I would think twice before pirating it.
This is how I feel, but the bottom line is my morals don't matter in the face of the law. It's illegal and unjustifiable. Can you get away with it? Certainly. Is copyright law outdated for the internet age? Maybe. But if the society you live in believes stealing is wrong, and punishable, then there's no argument.

You could make an argument for "try before you buy", but what stops people from "trying" until they're tired of the product and then not buying?
