I added an extra tile to the trees since the shot was taken. It's lest painful to look at now.
Not about to update the shot though, so. :\

That was my aim, yes.


The tree tops should sit one tile lower, but other than that, it's nice. :)

I remember seeing it done with SD3 rips in a small game made for a mapping project on's forums years ago. Too bad I never grabbed the coding from it. :\

I've always wondered if it was possible to make a character use more than just the two frames of animation you're given to work with?

I figured it would be done with a combination of key inputs and branches, but so far nothing seems to work for me.

Megaman Tournament

Oh man, I remember playing this way back when. I recall having a blast with it too, despite not even liking the Battle Network games.


I'm not sure, there's just something lacking. Since the battle backdrops are fixed pictures, you should draw up shadows, tones, emotions and stuff to make the screen feel less "mappy" and more like a background to a battle.

Lazy, or too busy with other things like ripping graphics or making up customs. I may look into it in the future, but right now it's not at the top of the list.

Chrono Trigger

I am going to make a Let's Play of this game and upload it to Youtube.

In addition to being awesome because the game is hilarious, it will be awesome because it will show up when people search for "Let's Play Chrono Trigger".
