New Battle System

Uh, then it's absolutely nothing like FF13 and I have no idea what you even mean by saying it's based on the paradigm shift system. What... does the script do, exactly?

Well it creates the ATB gauge, allows u to change roles from Attacker, Blaster, Defender, Enhancer, Jammer, and Healer. Of course you can only do it from the Menu. I don't see a problem with it. It's BASED off of the FFXIII system...

Paradigms were fun in FF13 because you were changing them constantly; like, every 2 turns or so. This made battles way more interactive than they would be if you mostly kept one paradigm for the whole battle. If you use a similar system, keep that in mind. Interactive is generally good; you want to make a game that the player is actually playing, not a game that's masturbating and playing itself while the player watches. It's hard to come up with a balance between automation and interactivity that's fun but not overwhelming.

The script for the system dosn't allow switching in battle... :(

Lol, well just the faceart is fine...busts are a neat addition though even if in only the bios. *o*

Yeah, I just figured it would be easier without them since the conversations that would be had would be between multiple characters. They might still be there, but only when Mimi meets the new character for the first time.

Haha, you weren't the only one who complained about it so I figured, put some monsters on the map people can avoid unless they want to level up, which they'll need to do anyway just to beat bosses~

I won't mind this change. Hell, I was thinking about a battle system like this for future projects :p

Lol well I guess I beat you to it~ I wish I could add this to the current Lithia, but I'm too far ahead to get everything set up, just because the script and resources I use arn't plug n' play... But don't worry! Future projects, like the one I'm paying you with, will deff. have it~

FFXIII's paradigm system? Well..I can say that not alot of games use that. I found it quite interesting, though also kind of more challenging.

I'm more favorable of classical battle systems like the older Final Fantasy's but hey, if you can make this system work I say go for it. Any change from VX's default battle system is fine by me. ^o^

Well, it won't be coming to the ACTUAL Lithia, but to stuff like the extra content you will get payed with. PLUS! With the way the Support role is working out, I might just keep it~

Well, maybe I will work on it after the Demo is approved. Then after awhile of people trying it, I will keep working on Lithia. I hope the side-story comes out good~

Yup! Has all the fixes u and my other tester explained to me~ I even cleaned up Matt's face art. Btw, when the project is completed, all u testers will be presented with a side-story if you really want it~ Just a little thanks. I already have the WHOLE thing planned out~
