Professor Layton series.

Is anyone else playing these? There's two out in the west now and four in Japan. I love the art, the story and the riddles are really fun and sometimes quite difficult for me. I'm also using them for Japanese practice, but I'm sure they'd be fun regardless.

Like? Dislike? These games and Dragon Quest IX have made me a big Level-5 fan.

Poirot Series 12

The first one airs January 3rd or something like that. I can't wait to download them after they came out. My only concern is that the site I got them from last time I can't sign back in on and they're one of them nazi-strict sites, so I'll have to look elsewhere.

Is another else a fan of the series? The first 5 seasons for lighthearted fun, the next 3 seasons were decent movies, and the last 3 series were cinema quality and amazing.

Should I buy a PS3 today?

I kind of want a blue-ray player, and something to listen to music with for the living (I can stream from my computer or put it all on the harddrive, right?) I think I can also put all my movies on it right so I can watch them on the good ol' HDTV. It's a shame I couldn't find a way to record TV programs with it in Japan.

Anyways, are these good enough reasons to pick one up? I'd eventually get games as well, but right now the only game I'm interested in is Final Fantasy XIII and the Japanese is way too difficult in it for stupid old me.

Yes/No

I turned my blog into a webcomic

It's called "we must oppose the world's meaninglessness with our revolt, our freedom and our passion".

the link is http://dearcamus.blogspot.com

here's the first comic. I'll write atleast one a day. It's a promise to myself.

Something stupid that no one will care about

Hi guys. I'm a dork. I'm not a dork like you are. I'm a special dork. Well, maybe you are a dork in the same way I am a dork, but I'm bet you're a different type of dork.

I like lists. I like information, no matter how pointless, neatly organized. I want to make a list, because I'm really curious about things for some stupid reason.

I was reading this old thread that no one gives a shit about in the introduction forums where 6 months ago or whenever Holbert mentioned an old RPGmaking website called "Imbiss". Atfirst I was all, "BAM! Imbiss! Long time!", and then I was all "wait, there was an interesting backstory behind imbiss. What was it again?" And I had forgotten. Was it the first comedy rpg maker combined website started by people at the RMD? Was it QHeretic's second attempt at a website (I forgot the name of his first two... GASP!).

So I think you know where I'm going with all this. I propose that we (together, as one single force in the name of triviality) put together a list of all the RPG making related websites, especially from way back when they were more countable, their years active, and who ran them. Wouldn't that be a fun idea? If only one person does it, it would be a daunting task, but just think, if society did it together, it could be the start of a new era of cooperation.

When was Imbiss active? Who ran it? What about this rpgmaker.net that I always have heard about from back in the day? Or some site I've never even heard of doing shit i couldn't even dream of? When were they active?

Who's with me!?

If no one, worry not, I'm sure I could potentially forget in a little over 5 minutes. But if the internet is there, I think we could make magic.

Need computer help (mac)

My mac won't read my WEP password for my wireless internet, so right now my internet is not password protected. Online is said that I can use WPA something or other, but how would I set that up? I set up the WEP password through a link I got from my (Japanese) internet provider. Or how could I check who has logged onto my internet? Would taht also be through a website provided to me by my provider? I could see if people are using my internet and block them I guess.

Really fucked these WEP things don't work. They work on my PSP and my Ipod Touch.

FFVIII on PSN in Japan!

BAM!

I'm excited. Probably means it'll come to NA soon, so you should be excited too.

1.8 gigs, I'm gonna buy a big memory stick soon and then get it.

I have a problem with my nail

So my finger hurts, right? I look at it, and right in the middle of the nail, it looks like there's a piece of pencil lead (graphite I guess) that got stuck there.

How does that happen? It's not in the top part, but clean through the nail. Isn't that fucked? There's no way to get it out as well, because nail don't budge like soft skin does. It feels funny. I wonder when I could've done it? The finger feels a bit fucked.

The pic doesn't show much, but here it is...

(this was first posted on another forum, an update) I tried digging into the surface of my nail with a knife, and it seemed like the metal or whatever is inside (I think I've ruled out pencil?)didn't seem to be on the surface, but I have no idea how it got in there. Now that I touched it with the knife, that just makes me feel an immense feeling of pain.

Any ideas?

I can't remember which RPGs this is

all I remember is that near the beginning of the game when the enemy announced themselves that it was through a broadcast on all reflective surfaces. Water and everything...
I think it was a PSX era RPG.

What game was it?

Thanks everyone.

Love all around

Playstation Network

Anyone downloading shit off of this? I got Final Fantasy VII and Wild Arms the other day, and I'm loving playing FFVII again. I had negative memories of it, but it's like I'm 13 again. Wild Arms is also great to play through again. It's the reason I found out how exactly the PSN worked (I'm a bit slow).

Lots of other PSX games out, and only 600 yen! Seems much better than Wii's Virtual Console actually.
