I tried to post the new game twice and both times it got declined for two different reasons without telling me both issues the first time. (Honestly don't know why they expect a visual novel to have more 'gameplay' than text and images.) It's been several days since the last submission and I've given up hope of them ever accepting it. I am sure that I will enjoy it! I already love this game: the story, the mapping... The victorian era! Everything suits just my likings! Anyway, since this week I will write a chemistry class exam I can't play your game until comes the weekend... But don't worry! I will be one of the few who told you that they finished playing it, and I will also let you know what I think about it :)

How didn't I see this before???!!! I will definetely play the demo! It looks really promising!
Thank you so much for picking up my game. You don't know how much this means to me as people from multiple sites have seemingly picked up the game then suddenly stopped, or just didn't tell me that they finished it. I thought it would be a while before someone actually noticed it on this website again. I've only gotten a few tell me that they've finished it. There's been more positive balances than negative, so I think you'll enjoy yourself.

Love the music dearly, just wondering though. I am a bit stuck. I am looking for the gloves, but I have no idea what the note means by 'blue things'. As far as I can see, there are no blue things. The only blue things I found are the books, and the kitchen which is entirely blue

It's the curtains. They're dark blue. I have a Walkthrough in the media section. You should consult that if you get stuck.

I don't know if your problem will be fixed, but there was a corrupt sound that I left in there that I've now removed. The only thing I can gather from "rpg vx ace freezing" as it's usually referring to an event error in the game. Not sure why it's only my end or I'm the only one speaking up about it but it's weird that I can run pocket mirror and etc. perfectly fine but this one just shits itself the moment it hears the bird. Tried to play it. Right in the beginning after you hear the bird, it stays pitch black and just says not responding. Also the music keeps playing.
I have the right rtp and also installed the fonts needed. Not sure why it's doing that. Just a heads up.
Before we start this:
I have restarted my computer
I have re-installed the game(About to re-install the package from the hosted website again)
And nothing still.
So I have a hard time believing it's my computer when It's only this game alone that acts up unless there is something missing entirely that I'm not aware of but I'm sure I wouldn't have been to run other vx ace games either because of this.
Re-installed RTP and also the game. Still nothing. So unless there is entirely something else to try I'm out of ideas.
Unless you don't mind giving me the test file but that's up to your discretion.
As of right now there is no fix for me to attempt or try as I can't say my computer is the error either as it runs everything else fine as well. Until I figure something or someone comes up with an idea I'm SOL in playing the game.
Edit: Found something out. Going to test a few more things and then see what's causing it. If I find out I'll let you know.
Edit2: I'm done. I tested this on my gf's laptop and it works, hers is worse than my comp, but mine can't even get past that point. No crash message or nothing and I've spent 2 hours trying to figure it out. Unless it's some random hidden program that I haven't closed out of that's stopping it I don't know. I give up.

Seriously, thank you. I got upset that I couldn't figure out what was causing it. I tried a LOT of different methods too.
I'll have to keep in mind if a sound breaks, remove it from the event sequence and don't use it. Had no idea that a corrupt sound could break anything because it didn't do it to my laptop dinosaur.
