The lines on the shirt were done in a bit of a rush to just get it done before it got too late, so I will definitely smooth those over in future. Glad you like it though~!

The lineart took me about twenty minutes or so, and the colouring has taken about an hour with copious breaks and distractions. XD
I may take the line under the chin down a little bit, I think it look a bit too much like a beard.. It was meant as a sort of shadowy-line but I can see how it makes him look a bit thick-jawed in ways too.

Yeah, I prefer this one too. I know it's set after the events of FF8, but the other one makes her look a bit older or kinda sisterly in a way. This one is definitely "Rinoa" as opposed to a character I'd have to learn to relate to all over again.

I thought gunblades did actually shoot? Like, if you hit the right trigger JUST as Squall struck an enemy, he'd shoot a bullet from the gun bit as the sword pierced them and it'd do extra damage.
But this is sexy times, and you are doing FF8 giiiiiant justice. Do moar now.

Evolves into OWL, able to turn head 360 degrees!
His head is a bit far rotated, but not impossibly so.. I see it as being to the point where he wouldn't be able to turn any more without moving his whole body.

In my experience GB games always came out a bit green looking, sorta like Wither's style I guess. It'd be a bit less harsh to look at, not that I minded the bright white when I played a little bit before. :P
Is it at all possible to change the font though? I think that was my only real issue with the aesthetic - it was otherwise perfection!
