Radiant Core Review

I always like to describe people by their title followed by their most noticeable features. Mr. Large-huge, Mr. Zombie, etc..

And oh. I'd actually forgotten about that! I did this review because Shadowa mailed me asking if I could. XD Oh well, two birds with one stone!

Ethereal Heart Review

@Clareain - I'm glad it wasn't too boring or technical! :P

@Noelle - Not a problem! Despite my issues, I really think this could be a good game!

@Sbester - To be fair, I somehow managed to pick the short games or ones that only had demo releases. Once I start playing longer games, I won't go through them so quick..

Genesis Review

To be honest, I've gotten used to facesets being used as a vague representation for which character is speaking without having to read their name every time, so the lack of emotions didn't bother me so much. If you feel that'd help with other players though, by all means! Editing facesets isn't too difficult, especially if you find a set of faces with emotions that someone has already made and you simply copy over the mouths/eyebrows and blend them in well.

Hiron's Path Review

Oh, that's a shame because I felt this game could've gone somewhere.. :( Oh well, I hope he does well with the iPhone apps!

Genesis Review

The mapping was okay, it wasn't horrifically offensive or anything. XD It's mainly big, empty interiors that needed to be toned down. Every building was stretched to fit the size of the map, but you can use the completely transparent/black block to make it seem like there's nothing there in order to show where the outside should be, like this kind of thing:

Oh, I didn't really notice the sidequest.. maybe you should make it so that the players are more aware of it? Or make sidequests an expected thing by making a few more of them? That way, people will go around and talk to everyone.

The scripting error with the battle wasn't your fault, which is why I didn't score you down on it or anything (I'm harsh but I'm not THAT harsh). It was just difficult not to want to run away when you're getting beaten to a pulp by the monsters, so maybe the answer it just to reduce the strength of them a bit.

As for the demo ending, that's a good thing because I thought I'd been conned out of the game's ending and was actually quite sad. XD Maybe if you just put an event like "this is the end of the demo" after you kill the giant, offer a savepoint and then return to the title screen, then people can continue on where they left off before the demo ended when you release the next segment of the game.

I did enjoy the game a lot! I look forward to seeing the next chapters from you!

The Kings Quest Complete Review

Yeah, I'm pretty damn harsh when it comes to games. I think telling someone something they've done is good when it's not means they'll never improve, so.. if I give a bad score and ask for improvements, the only way is up, really.

But I was pretty harsh here. I gave myself a break between reviews because I thought I was just getting more and more mean as they went along. XD I didn't know how long it'd be before I ended up not giving scores.

Lost Identity Review

I thought I'd try a different style of reviewing, as I couldn't really see how I'd split this game into different areas (considering it was quite a difficult to understand game), so I thought I'd write things down as soon as they came up. I guess it does give it a bit more of a personal touch, but I think I'll just continue with regular reviewing styles instead. Maybe one day, if I ever did an LP or something, stream of consciousness would fit in better. :P

The Adventure Review

It's possibly where an event has tried to move to somewhere it can't, and it freezes the entire game up permanently. That's what I'd speculate, anyway.

Epic Elf (2013) Review

Like I said, I was dying against regular monsters, soooo.. XD Level 20 is pretty pathetic.

Epic Elf (2013) Review

I uhh.. I was still about level 20 when I was fighting Knightmare.. My bad..
