In regard to the battles, I decided to keep them slightly on the easy side, because when I made them harder in my previous games, a lot of people found them too hard, but I could try to make them harder for the challenging difficulty.
Did I say they were too easy? They weren't - not on hard mode, at least.

Interesting game so far. I downloaded it, and will play sometime in the future. But I must say, the file size is huge. Anything over 150mb will result in many players not playing the game.
Look into WavePad Sound Editor. You can use it for free when working on non commercial projects. Use this to edit unwanted music.
And look into changing some of your MP3s into WMAS. This will lower the size of most files by 50%.
There's also a program called Riot. You can use it to lower the file size of graphics. I recommend checking that out too. It's also free~
Animations can be very large, but if you turn them into black background Jpegs, they decrease in size by a good 30 to 50%.
You released the project with the RTP. The RTP for ace is huge. I recommend installing the RTP you're using, and avoid resources highlighted with a blue circle.

I can never draw a character that looks at the viewer. I guess everyone is shy in the world of C-C. I'll have to work on that.
