So how long does it normally take you guys to sprite a rpg maker character?

The entire thing, or a heavily edited sprite of some kind.

Been spriting a lot this past week, and thought I'd throw this out there.

higher resolution characters take a long time. lower resolution (practical) designs take about an hour.

RTP at such large resolution seems like such a terrible learning curve. but people love them so what can you do.

The learning process was a bit of a pain, but after that, I find the art pretty fun to make.
Right now, my main issue is trying not to get bored animating the sprite. =3
