I gave Etrian Odyssey I the old college try. I've got a love/hate relationship with it.
Kylaila, consider Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk. i haven't played it yet but everybody i know who has loves it
Acra i'm really glad you made that post so i didn't have to. GOTTA DEFEND THE SERIES' HONOR. the only thing i disagree on is that 3 is good. 3 is not good despite the great theme and music. 5/4 > 2 > 1 > 3 imho. I put 5/4 on the same tier becuase tehy're pretty different games. (i haven't played nexus, it focuses more on what 4 did which i don't prefer to 5)
unity, 4/5 have very good auto-mapping.i actually play with floor mapping on, though i do my own walls as a progress/exploration check for myself.

I'm making an Aquarium Area in my game it's surprisingly fun to make!

Anyone know any good places to promote the game? Trash Planet is probably going to be done soonish (middle of next year?) and I need to get more eyeballs on the project.
i was about to sit down and list out the sites where i advertised Wine & Roses and Visions & Voices to get my >10k dls for each... but a bunch are dead or very different now lol.
