Yes, it is a library. And yes there are friendly monsters. It is actually a sidequest that you can partake in for the Battle Arena. You find friendly monsters in the wild, feed them food until they join you and then you visit them in the battle arena, feed them, care for them, grow their stats and levels and compete them in pitched, bloody battles in the arena for rare items and loot! So brutal. lol

Thanks for the comments. Some tilesets I am better at than others but I try my best to make each 'area' with the same 'tileset' different enough to be unique from each other. Like for example, there are multiple cave entrance screens like this one for other cave areas, however this is the first one with height elevation AND a waterfall at the same time. So that puts it 'just' unique enough to make it visually appealing compared to the other dozen cave entrance screens. lol

Your heroes look like they are level 1. That dragon is totally going to kick their ass.

I was going to say, this is quite a different shot when compared to all the rest.

You know you can now categorize your game under Zelda Classic instead of a 'custom' game engine now! Check it out!

Those grass graphics actually came from Mega Man 1 ending, so they clash slightly, however when its in motion, the effect isn't as noticeable, so they pass.

Wonder what the weakness order would be?

That's the great fun of it! For those who have played Mega Man 9, you already know what Magma Man's weakness is!
