Cherry - Another Full Screen Mode

Weird request for Cherry. But is there an option to 'window' the fullscreen program you made? This is mainly for Camstudio recording purposes and I'd love to utilize the high quality graphic filters in my videos that are inherent to your program. Thanks for any assistance.

rm2k3 Mac and Blue christmas tree?

There are snow chipsets for Mac and Blue and I remember seeing one with a tree with Christmas lights on it. But I can't, for the life of me, find it anywhere online or on my hard drive. So where would I be able to find the 3x4 tile snowy tree with christmas lights?

Beyond VX

I've been curious for a while lately and haven't looked it up myself. But is there a new RPGmaker on the horizon, beyond XP and VX that is going to come out anytime soon?

help with converting a backdrop

I was wondering if anyone could change this:

to have the same color tone/type as these two:

Basically, I need a snow-mountain type of backdrop. Gimp or Idraw doesn't seem to have the overall capability to easily do this without pixel-by-pixel editing of said mount.bmp. Not to sound elitist (because I'm not), but with one kid (and another real soon!), a full time job and more, I simply don't have time to work on graphic editing. Something that I'm not very adept at to begin with. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Ice Sliding in rm2k3

Okay, I have each point in the ice sliding puzzle (think Tales of Symphonia) with key input processing in a variable. So this handles direction. So whenever players press a direction, they slide forward until they hit something. This is easy and I have it figured out. Problem is, if they hit any other points along the way, they get stopped by them, even with 'proceed with movement' after each slide. So I thought I was being clever and put a switch on/off right before a movement which would turn them all off as you were sliding, then after it was over, turn them all back on and reactivate whichever one you were standing on for the next movement. This only works half the time, not all the time. Is there a better way to do this? Please help.

Tonberry Charaset

I was looking for a Tonberry charaset, of the little guy walking around. Is there one in existence or can someone make one? You would be credited accordingly.
Thanks for any assistance. :)

Looking for Arched Bridge to fit into Mac and Blue

As many of you have already viewed, my Amulet of Fate game is utilizing mostly Mac and Blue chipsets. I was looking for a arched bridge (one that can be tiled to expand almost any river gap distance) that will fit in mostly with the Mac and Blue chipsets. Can anyone help me out here? It would be much appreciated.

mega man sound effects, 3-6

I can easily find MM sounds for MM9 and MM2, but none from the series from MM 3 thru 6. Can anyone tell me where I can find a nice repository of MM sound FX from these middle games? If I am to ever finish my MM fangame, I'm going to need sound FX for polish on it. Thanks for any help.

Mega Man: The value of points

They did them once, then never again after the original Mega Man. (that is, until Powered Up came along, which they only brought back the point system for nostalgia reasons)
But for my upcoming Mega Man fangame: Revenge of the Fallen (don't laugh, I had the title in place long before the movie was ever wrongfully conceived) I have a point system in place currently. It is internal, you can't see it, but it is established and functional. At the end of production, we'll make it visible so players can see their score. You earn anywhere between 100-1000 points based on enemy point value when destroyed. You get 5000 from bosses. You lose 1000 for every death. You lose all points if you lose all lives.
Two things:
Would this point system be worthwhile for players not just for bragging rights, but for every 10,000 points, they get an extra life? (and only once per milestone, you can't get 10,000, die to get under and get 10,000 again for another life, you have to go for 20,000 to get that second life earning) Now obviously, if you lose all lives and thus, all your score, the 10,000 increment milestones would be reinstated for another round of extra lives.
Secondly, would it be worth the player's time to go out of their way to snag point power-ups (in addition to health and weapon energy power-ups) scattered throughout the levels increasing points from anywhere 100-300 per power-up?

What are your thoughts on this minor, yet potentially interesting game mechanic in the MM gameplay?

Looking into RPGMaker XP or VX...

My spouse is actually interested in making an rpg with me. However, I'm knee deep in rm2k3 goodness with my own rpg. Sure rm2k3 has its slew of flaws, but I'm so far into my game that I won't give it up now. But for the sake of our game we'll be creating together, I'm looking into a more suitable maker to do it in. Which is better, XP or VX? Which has more options, robust scripts, etc? Furthermore, which one has more online resources to pull from for chipsets, charasets, battle animations, facesets, monsters, and more? Thanks for any who reply.
