I'm trying to create music in the style of Phil Spector and Brian Wilson. How do you think it turned out?

RTP from 2000 for XP?

Yes, it has.
Really? Where?
RTP from 2000 for XP?
For some reason, I like the aesthetic of the old RPG Makers better than the new ones, plus the less refined look would make it easier for me to make custom graphics, so my question is: Has anyone converted the RTP from RPG Maker 2000/3 for use with RPG Maker XP/VX?
New Musical Notation?

Tablature?
New Musical Notation?
I've been thinking about inventing a new, simplified way to write music since I can't be bothered to learn the traditional way. It goes something like this:
This is the opening harpsicord part of God Only Knows by The Beach Boys.
The numbers represent what octave you're supposed to play the note in. The numbers inbetween the notes represent the corrosponding black keys. Each of those columns is a single beat; if you were to play, say, a french horn over multiple beats, you'd draw a line after the number to the place you want to stop.
How does this sit with the musically inclined here?

Quick Piano Thing
author=gotmilkxtreme2 link=topic=3898.msg78259#msg78259 date=1244048830I already do that. Most of the songs I know how to play I learned in Anvil Studio by having it show me which keys to play; I have no idea how to read sheet music and I never intend to learn.
It sounds like a good start. If you don't play piano already I would recommend taking some lessons, or maybe just using highlighted key programs (like band-in-a-box) to import some midi files and learn some songs.
Quick Piano Thing
Something I came up with on piano just now.

Piano and Strings
Just a little something I whipped up in Anvil. Hope you like it.
