Music of Mine

I'm trying to create music in the style of Phil Spector and Brian Wilson. How do you think it turned out?

RTP from 2000 for XP?

For some reason, I like the aesthetic of the old RPG Makers better than the new ones, plus the less refined look would make it easier for me to make custom graphics, so my question is: Has anyone converted the RTP from RPG Maker 2000/3 for use with RPG Maker XP/VX?

New Musical Notation?

I've been thinking about inventing a new, simplified way to write music since I can't be bothered to learn the traditional way. It goes something like this:

This is the opening harpsicord part of God Only Knows by The Beach Boys.

The numbers represent what octave you're supposed to play the note in. The numbers inbetween the notes represent the corrosponding black keys. Each of those columns is a single beat; if you were to play, say, a french horn over multiple beats, you'd draw a line after the number to the place you want to stop.

How does this sit with the musically inclined here?

Quick Piano Thing

Piano and Strings

Just a little something I whipped up in Anvil. Hope you like it.

Sprites-to-Scale?

This might be kind of a far out request, but is there any way to desgin character sprites and tilesets to be drawn to a scale? Like, say, 1 RPG Maker Unit = 3 Square Feet?

I just thought more consistant, life-like graphics would be a plus. Also, I've been interested for a long time in designing game worlds by the square mile, which would neccesitate scaled graphics.

G'day.

I'm DonZabu, though that should be obvious.
I frequent many different websites and forums. A Google search could tell you volumes.
I just hope that I have something to contribute to this wonderful community.

On a side note, how do I actually get a profile pic? I can't seem to find any sort of button or prompt to allow me to choose an image to show with my posts.
