Hey there! This seems to be a very nice little script, however it displays some odd behaviours, I'm not sure if I'm just using it incorrectly or if it's bugs in the code. If I just use event.follow_player_movement as a parallel process, the event doesn't chase the player, it just immitates the player's movements exactly. As for how to use event.watch_player_movement, yeah, I've tried to use it but it just displays some very odd behaviour. Could you perhaps explain with some examples how to use these two commands properly?
Example of odd behaviour with event.watch_player_movement, I set an event to parallel process to "watch" the player's movements, then, at a later point, I have this event set to event.follow_player_movement on parallel process and the event does follow the path the player walked, but it skips from square to square instead of properly walking along the path.
Here's a visual example as to what happens:
I haven't tested the script yet, but isn't the purpose of the script to exactly imitate the player's movement? I haven't looked deep into it yet, so sorry if I have mistaken your point xD
Anyway, this looks like an extremely interesting script, maybe you could make some nice puzzles with it.

One of the best game you can find on this site. Yet why lying about a sequel or some "ultimate edition" for a 2017 game which received no update since five years ?
Dont misunderstand me, im really thankful to you, the author, for making such exciting little gem, as many here.
I have played and replayed it and will replay it in a near future. But please, stop teasing nothingness with some " I'm aiming to have the ultimate edition done by the end of the year". Or "i will work on this and that" to deliver nothing at end. Its obvious.
Just "im done with this game, glad you enjoyed it" and thats all, simple as that.
People who truly loved your free work will not bark or belittle you. Really.
Last I checked this game doesn't pay anyone's bills. And even if it did, there's much more to a person's life that they are not entitled to do anything just because someone wants it. Developing a game, of all things, is extremely demanding, time-consuming and stressing. There hadn't been any expectation dates of when the game would come out for a long time since, you guessed it, things happen in life unexpectedly. Besides, the commitment of the author to keep updating about the game all those years shows how they ARE keen into continuing it. Please be respectful.
As for you Wheelman, it is really sad to hear that your health has not been on the best side for some time now... Please don't strain yourself and specially do not think you owe anyone here something. Best wishes and hope you get well!
