I mean, I wish I could create my own custom graphics and use them for my games like other people do, but my biggest problem is really just getting some of these games out the door and just finishing them already. It’s already hard enough to make these things without the use of custom graphics, so I can imagine just how much more time it would take me if I did.

Your whole reply was spot on but this is especially true! Just getting a game done is really tough and having to worry about graphics makes it take even longer. Its an easy way to get stuck in dev hell too because as your art improves you want to remake everything, so even if you manage to finish all your graphics there is still that trap.

Tabception xD You might want to add some visual breaks between images and their accompanying information. Maybe decrease your screen resolution so the images aren't so large. The text isn't very clear in them.

I wrote a tutorial on events for beginners, too http://rpgmaker.net/tutorials/842/ (you can see what I mean about visual breaks in there). I was going write more tutorials but...meh. Lazy :P

If you ever want to learn about the stuff you don't know about, feel free to ask me. Terrain is a really useful tool. Everybody should know about it.
