Neo Aquarium's gone~

[Review Request]

Name: Because We're Here ~ Mohnblume und Blauerose
Link: http://rpgmaker.net/games/7849/
Status: Demo
Genre: Visual Novel
Estimated length: 2-3 Hours
Small description: Anti-dating-sim set in alternate World War One. Dark comedy. An otome for non-otome fans.
Special requests: Being a visual novel, it's quite a story-centric game. I already have a review but I'd quite like to see what someone else thought too, because I'm really not sure they finished the demo (which is kind of necessary to understand the game at all as there's a huge shift in tone (and even debatably genre)) ^^

[Sharing] Give Away Your Extra Programs/Games/etc

Got a couple of games going, if anyone's interested! Steam keys for 'NEO AQUARIUM - The King of Crustaceans' (crab phobia; terrifying; dear god) and the visual novel 'WORLD END ECONOMiCA episode.01' (supposedly quite good; already own; unaffected by phobia)

edit: World End Economica's gone! Crab game remains.

Because We're Here ~Mohnblume und Blauerose~ Review

edit: This review now refers to a very-outdated old demo! The more recent release has had a massive graphical overhaul, you'll be pleased to know.

Notes on the Etgoesian Crisis: Plus

Alrighty, time to reply to some gamepage posts from 2013. Ever on-the-ball.

Apologies to anyone whose game crashed on the Jorgund/Magarlindt battle! The new version has included a way to get round that - though you'll need to start a new file. Still, a lot has changed in the game since you played it last. And Hasvers, your recruitment worries are over: the updated NotEC lets you get every character in one playthrough~

For your one specifically, Fisherson... I've got no idea! That has never happened before. Very sorry about that... I'm not sure I can suggest much other than 'start again' and hope for the best - as I said, a lot's been updated, so hopefully that wouldn't be too much of a chore, hah.

NotEC Remake/Re-Release - and a Visual Novel Spiritual Sequel!

I know, right? Those tall sprites. <3

Though, the Romancing Saga 3 edits game - the one this gamepage is for - is now already released!! Enjoy.

And there's no shame in those hip-preferences, ahaha. That postwoman-starring game - Because We're Here - is the upcoming one, demo's out in about a month~

[RM2K3] [RMVX ACE] Current status of Windows 8 compatability?

Ah, thanks very much, this is quite handy! Hmm, seems like 2K3 might be a safe enough bet after all. And thanks for clarifying about the Windows 8/videocard/monitor stuff, I wasn't too aware of all that.

Intersting about the RM95 thing. And I had not considered the matter of the actual editors! Whoops. Out of interest, do you know how the 2K3 editor generally fares on Windows 8?

[RM2K3] [RMVX ACE] Current status of Windows 8 compatability?

Hullo RMN, long time no see. Just a quick question - I'm at a stage of game development where I've got a sizeable amount of resources made but must now choose between putting them into 2K3 or converting for VX Ace. (Considering how much 2K3 meets my requirements and preferences, it'd be great not to have to upgrade if I didn't absolutely have to! But I am aware that sometimes one must get with the times.)

Been out of the loop for a good while, but I've managed to find a couple of articles and forum threads on Windows 8 compatability, though none are particularly recent. So: I was just wondering what the prevailing wisdom currently is with regards to Windows 8/whether RM2K3 games seem likely to be widely unplayable in the relatively near future? The impression I get is that a lot of the time it'd only be people dedicated enough to seek intricate workarounds who'd be able to get it to work - would you say this accurate? Or do they generally still seem playable enough? Cheers.
