I agree with LockeZ, I think this map is much nicer. The grass is a lot less artificial looking. As for the billboard, maybe move it above the pathway if that's possible? I don't know if that's an option but it would solve the problem of finding another sprite.

This map is gorgeous! I love the use of light, what looks like fog and the density of the trees on the sides! It really makes for a realistic setting, great job :)

Hmm, good point let me try that... I was going for mystery with the shadows, but you're right the fact that the trees are small makes that strange.
