Dragon Quest: Legacy of the Lost

I would like to add that Whalemage can indeed be paralyzed! At an low chance, but once he's paralyzed you will have a long advantage in the fight. Make sure Oruba knows bang that spell rules in this miniboss fight.

Equiping a poison spike can also help out poisoning your foes, I recommend Melody to use that weapon.

Dragon Quest: Legacy of the Lost

Great progression, I say! Things are looking extra crispy here, now then I shall say good luck to those playing on this cycle of apples!! =D

I need to ask: Is there anything I can do to prevent Thunder Roar from being used? Or anything I can equip or cast to prevent the effects of the earlier one?

For those who have played the game to the end, you can figure where I'm stuck ....

Remember each demon lord has a super attack, just remember to attack them normally, and not with the elements that they use. Be careful about them, they haven't given up just yet...

And rings with elemental resistance or the spell effect of resist will not protect you from a demon lord's super attack.

Is there any reason Olian didn't stick around in my party after we took care of things in Bariden?

I mean, I thought we really had a good bro-bond going there!

Hmm, you want him to join you for good? Complete more of the game till you meet another priest who knows him well, his brother. Then return to Bariden again, speak to the big cheese of Bariden and you'll get him. =D

(Warning!!!) A tough battle if your lowlvled to get him awaits you, good luck!! =P

Sock:

Do you remember what enemy did that to you (that weakened Melody too)? I thought I had gotten rid of every instance of that occurring.

As for Onyu, the fight should be relatively easy if you are about level 17 and gear yourself up with Frost Rings (brass ring + ice gem). You can buy both of the mats in Lidenburg. As for Iron Ore, there actually is no place you can farm it.

If you are struggling with Onyu, I highly recommend you go to Yuria first (the wind shard from the present version of Theif's Den gets you there).

I recommended Yuria as well, Orias.

Just beat Quevi. That was a hell of a boss battle. Managed to beat it only because I had like 20 lovewaters stocked. Only my hero survived, but 20 HP.
Ah, yes that battle was fun good times... Now you are getting into the tougher bosses...

Dragon Quest: Legacy of the Lost

Iron ore, huh? Some foes like Well Demons and Fire Saplings drop em, but that is something you will find easier at the Quevi region.

I just got to Onyu, and I am having a hard time of it.

I'm thinking gear is my issue. Is there any place I can go to farm iron ore?

Also, I noticed a bug. Not sure if it's been posted yet, but when I have Melody in the party, whenever ANYONE gets weakened, she does too.

Yeah, that so called bug is suppose to only affect Melody. I told Orias about it many times while I testing, I am surprised it's still there!

Hard time grinding at Onyu? Try grinding at the town after Onyu, Yuria if you unlocked it with the shards.

Ha! Orias....you seem to be spending more time answering individual requests for help than actually taking time to write that short walkthrough....just enough to help us know which end is up. Or maybe someone who has finished or gotten farther into the game!

I beta tested this game and beat it with a change of paste! Furthermore, I don't really see mah self as a walkthrough creator!

I will help out to the best of my memories on this game. =D

You needs to show that notebook to his gurl back in Lindenbrug!!
