Well, I tried to ask the king for hints but he never changed his first answer until I did the riddle and then again.
I thought we had already fixed that. Did you play the last version we uploaded?
I'll check it anyway. Thanks for the info.

Will only update for the full version. Still trying to get the mouse costume.
Sometimes I wish the MC would say "NO" to the reaper.

I don't think it's fair to ban this Euphonius fellow just because of this little dispute. His statements were very polemic, but he didn't insult anyone. Everything he said was within his right of free speech, which you violated by banning him. Hopefully, I won't regret joining this community, since I evaluate a community based on how it treats its outsiders.

I chatted with him on Steam and he is used to get banned.
Give him some time to cool down.

You will loose your money to the pirates. But you get your inventory back from them to fight - so you should spend your money until only 250 Gold left before entering the ship.

Astoria: The Holders of Power Saga Review

This discussion is ridiculous.

@Euphoniac: Stop it, please. You have run yourself into a dead end.

@Liberty: I understand your site, too. That was the cause I wrote the guide to help players understand the game mechanics. That includes the changing of spells to hit the weakness of monsters.
For me grinding means to get the bestiary full. Grinding for levels or money was only in the beginning (first Nolan alone, then Calista/Petra alone). When gringing then around a free healing place (Slime Farm, Woodhaven, Gardena, Pirate's Tent, Mihr, Silverdale Camp). I didn't mind to backtrack some dungeons (not all, as there were some so maze like).
Not nice was to loose your money twice and your inventory once without getting it back (especially after picking so many free herbs).
Getting closed in some dungeons was a game mechanic the dev choose and you have to live with it.
I myself don't write reviews because I'm a bad writer (really) but I help where I can to make games better (as a beta tester/translator) or write guides.

Actually, we found out that the two 5 star reviews for this game were from alt accounts by the dev to boost the score. That has resulted in the reviews being removed and the alts (including the dev) banned.

Sorry for not being more clear about this!

I wrote a message to GoldenUnicorn about this and asked him to remove other fake reviews from the other sites.

Astoria: The Holders of Power Saga Review

Hello Liberty,

I see you had trouble with money and grinding for it.
The trick was to find out the weaknesses of the monsters and act accordingly to it.
Perhaps you will try it again with my walkthrough as a help for this.

Also you can rest for free in many places and sometime even pick healing herbs. And the visible monsters don't respawn.

I ended the game with level 75-76 and over 30.000 gold left after buying all the special items. And I nearly never grinded for money. Only in the beginning to earn some levels. Most of the gold came from the dragon lairs.

The crush you mentioned could have been caused by the F12 issue. I had the same crash. The advice was: never use F12 because it will cause crashes when entering oder reloading in caves or when it gets dark. You can reload directly and save anytime.

Legion Saga III Review

The version with the old battle system and without card play (etc.) can still be found under downloads.

The Falling Leaves Review

With higher levels Nociel learns Cure and Heal II, then items get useless.
In the beginning poison seems a problem, but in the town you can buy antidotes.
Don't forget to hire Jonnie of your home village after you spoke with the king.
And there's the second ending...
