Pokémon Blue - a randomised run, had a lot of fun, Tauros is as many people know completely broken.
Persona 5 Royal - Finally completed it, a really good game but it is so long. I was planning on getting the rereleases of P3 & P4 next year but I think I need a break from Persona games for a bit.
Plate Up - apparently my most played game by time played on steam this year. Really fun game.
Super Metroid - I usually do a full run during the Christmas holidays, this year I went for 100% which took me a terrible 2:30ish, lots of places I screwed up.

MMOs/Games that never end
Guild Wars - played for new year's eve, I completed my Elonian Vanquisher title, I had five areas left. Still have about 5% to do on the Elonian Cartographer sadly.
Guild Wars 2 - I've been farming orphans for karma, otherwise I won't be able to afford my legendary varients.
World of Warcraft - not played in the last month.

Currently Playing
Zelda Majora's Mask (NSO) - I picked it back up during the holidays, completed Snowhead and Great Bay, just Ikana to go now.
Dragon Quest 7 - another section of the game done, I lost some progress which was highly demotivating and confusing to find myself back to where I was.
Shadows over Loathing - forgot to include on previous lists, I'm upto the final area. I really enjoyed the game in the beginning but I think my enjoyment is waning as it goes on. Hopefully the ending will make up for it.

Might have abandoned but do want to go back to
Final Fantasy 12
Final Fantasy XIII - 2
Final Fantasy V Pixel Remake
Digimon World 2003

Games I might get
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair

Old Games I'm thinking I'd like to replay
Jade Cocoon
Phantasy Star Online Episode 3

Secret Santa 2022

Delsin thank you so much for the review, once again I really enjoyed reading it - was a fab review, if you have the time would you consider submitting it to the site please?

Thanking you, Fomar! I think it was the bestest secret santa I've ever got.

Glad you liked it, I really didn't have much idea of what to do hence the stalking of your previous secret santa posts.

The Haikus were fun to write.

Secret Santa 2022

Thank you secret santa, that was an awesome review. I really enjoyed reading it. It was well written, detailed and thorough and has made my morning, so once again thank you <3

Age of Empires 3 - dlc all finished, the dlc empires had some weird quirks, confusing in parts.
Pokémon Violet - I'm not sure what I can say that hasn't been said before. Performance bad, open world bland, story surprisingly good, new Pokémon a mixed bag but okay overall.

MMOs/Games that never end
Guild Wars - not played in the last month.
Guild Wars 2 - finished up the living world season 1, have been playing with a friend who recently got back into the game.
World of Warcraft - Not proud but I had a case of FOMO and resubbed for the pre-event. Not actually been motivated to start the expansion though.

Currently Playing
Plate Up - still amazing fun, love going for automation.
Zelda Majora's Mask (NSO) - I did a side quest, I should just set aside some time to finish it.
Persona 5 Royal - Into January now, think the end is in sight. Really fun game.

Might have abandoned but do want to go back to

Secret Santa 2022

So busy but I love secret santa - so sign me up, although everyone saying they don't want reviews is off putting.

Stuff I like:
Reviews (A Stolen Love and the Forgotten Promise would be my preference but I'm not overly fussed if something else catches your eye then go for it)
Let's Plays
Fan art
If you want to make a game then I like RPGs with puzzle elements

Stuff I like to give:
Reviews
Custom Scripts/Plugins - if anyone has a cool system they'd love to see implemented then do say.

I bought my kid RM2k3 yesterday. It begins...

Kentona wait until he discovers the newer better rpg makers.

Diablo 3 - One of grindy achievements bugged :( I really don't feel like deleting my whole save and starting from scratch, so probably done.
Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 2 - finished recently, a nice nostalgia hit but not much more.
Pokémon Shield - I'd previously in Sword bred 6 new competative Pokemon and EV trained them. So I played Shield from start to finish with them, I also got the alternate form of Urshifu, and caught Regileki, Glastrier, and Yamper which completed my Galar Pokedex in Pokemon home, about 40 Pokemon to go to complete the national pokedex in Home.

MMOs/Games that never end
Guild Wars - not played in the last month.
Guild Wars 2 - started working on the Jormag legendary variant sword, completed the Clock Tower jumping puzzle first time this year!

Currently Playing
Plate Up - amazing fun, been playing this with Indrah.
Zelda Majora's Mask (NSO) - Played a bit more, up to Snowhead dungeon.
Persona 5 Royal - Having a blast, played about 50 hours so far. Recently completed the 4th dungeon, nearly done with August.

Might have abandoned but do want to go back to
Final Fantasy 12
Final Fantasy XIII - 2
Dragon Quest 7
Final Fantasy V Pixel Remake
Age of Empires 3
Digimon World 2003 - Played for a few hours, forgot to save and accidentally hit esc. It scratched the itch I had to play it. I remembered this game being slow but it was super slow.

Games I might get
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
Pokémon Violet

Surprise! New Demo!

I've test played Legacy for both demo releases, it really feels like everything is now coming together both in terms of narrative and gameplay. This demo is expansive, with a huge amount of exploration, and I had a blast playing it.

I loved Blaze last time, but went with Kurt this time whom I found to be an equally good BFF.

Resurrect the Dying

Missed the deadline but here's what I did for this year.

A long time ago I made an online achievement system:
https://rpgmakeronline.org/

However it broke a while ago, the plugin I used for the database was depreciated and finally got removed in 2020 (in my defence I did not know it was depreciated back in 2013). So I've spent a significant amount of time rewriting the database code and re-testing that it all works.

Then I set out to add online achievements to Final Quest:
https://rpgmaker.net/games/6048/
(main download - you can still access the original download on the download page)

I just finished testing it. I had completely forgotten that back in VX Ace you have to reload a map for changes to an event to be reflected if you saved on that map, I'd like those two hours of my life back. If you're interested in checking it out then the game is about half an hour long, maybe a bit longer and worth 500 achievement points!

You can go even further and say that programming is pretty horrifying in general.

No that's the best part, cutscenes are horrifying.
