GAMINGMITCHELL03232013'S PROFILE
I am a newbie to this site and RPGMaker. Currently I am working on an untitled game in RPG Maker 2000. (It seems to be really easy to use, even with it's limitations) I will post a demo when I see the game is "demo worthy".

Just finished this interior. Its really bare-bones as of right now, but it'll have to do.
Otherwise it looks good, except there should be a tad more clutter
Can you give me some examples of an oddly shaped room? The best example I can think of is the room on the top right.

Now, obviously, the gold is better. But I want to know what color contrasts best with white. Green? Red? Blue? Black gives the highest contrast, but thanks to screwy shadowing, tends to blob a bit.
I can just barely read the white text. Cool colors would probably work best with your windowskin. (Specifically Blue and Purple IMO)

The walls on the outside of the cabin are taller than the walls on the inside of the cabin, and that really bugs me >_<
I always knew the interior walls should of been as big as the exterior walls.

Adding to this, it'd make more sense if either the exterior or interior of the cabin was mirrored, as the locations of the entrance don't correspond with each other.
I don't know how that slipped through my "Eye of Perfection". It was probably overlooked...
Also, does anyone find my usage of the chipsets "weird"? (Like are there any questionable design choices?)

I also have these from a discontinued RM2000 project from about 3 years ago.
The exterior of a forest cabin.
And the interior of the same cabin.

I should probably replace some of the stumps with actual trees. It somewhat seems unnatural to have random tree stumps in the middle of a village.

How's this? I'll admit the town's pretty bland right now, but that might be because of a lack of NPCs, and an overuse of the same building tiles and roofs. I also feel I'm overusing the tall grass tile. (Also, sorry for the bad quality of the picture)
